Got a few laps in tonight, hopefully more to come. Biggest problem I have is it's hard to restrain myself from going sideways as it's so much fun to do in the BMW.

Lost about 0.4 in S2 compared to last fastest lap. Should be a high 54 somewhere

You're not wrong. It's a drifty little sucker, sometimes the slide just goes weird and can't be recovered though which is a bit annoying.

Quite enjoying this one. I think a mid 54 might be the winner this week.
Lorts of places where you have to go slower than you think you have to be, to then get the exit right.
Plenty of paintwork scratched on this one!

I made the mistake of having a go in the Bentley...can't get back into the flow of the 1 Series after that. Struggling to even match my time let alone go quicker...I think I've reached my limit.

Funnily enough, it's quite similar to Bannochbrae with the walls and barriers, although I'd say the Scottish track flows better. I really hate the sticky walls though, go anywhere near the walls and you can't get off them, lap over! (is it a lap though, it's effectively a tarmac rally stage). Break out the Tommy Makkinen Mitsubishi and map the handbrake

I know what you mean, did about 30 laps in the Bentley before going in the BMW - it was as if i couldn't drive (well more than normal).

Thought I would compare it to the PS4 and a big difference in handling. Car is much more prone to power oversteer and turn in is a lot better. Lift off oversteer is more than on the PC. The general the grip levels are lower. I will check that the tyres are the same.

The car seems really floaty and not much front end grip on the PS4... you almost have to back it into the corners :-)

On the subject of a monthly challenge, I'd like to suggest something a bit different.

Car and track combo, 100% AI, fixed number of laps, around 10-15 minute races maybe (avoid rain as the AI doesn't seem to be affected as badly as players sadly), player starting last. Total race time and best position. Something a bit more meaty to get your teeth into. I find with time trial that after a couple of good sessions I hit my talent limit and struggle to progress further, the same combo for a month wouldn't keep me coming back. There are simply more variables with a race setup.

Anybody up for this as a monthly challenge?
