Few laps of the combo last night before some nice V8 Supercar racing with B2BS. Not feeling this one, but perhaps I didn't give myself time to settle in.

About separate controller/wheel leaderboard, I'd say let's keep it all together. The table clearly shows what platform and control type we are using. And after all, it's only meant to be a bit of fun

So first monthly challenge race for those interested, let's have something simple to start with and keep the AI down in case some of the hardware in use struggles. If there is a cap on opponents on PS4 below what I set can you let me know please. Happy to go with console limits so more people join in.

10 laps player starting last with 14 opponents
No pit stop
Total race time and best position

Should we start a separate thread? I'd rather keep the group together here but it could get messy with both challenges going. Is this ok for everyone? Are there any other settings I need to specify, not at my PC at the moment so doing it from memory.

Thanks, I control the car through the fast left/right sweeps in sector one with a dash of brakes whilst still on the throttle, then sector 2 is all about getting as close to the inside barriers as possible to allow for more speed to be carried. I think, I am turning in early as the steering is quite slow, or it might be the under steer. But I have found turn in early be on the throttle and it helps diminish the under steer, wait too long and it just drifts out into the outside barrier. Also being slower into the tricky slow left (with the stone walls) that leads into the slow right, to get as far to the left as possible for the slow right that leads onto the long uphill run.

Tidy lap 4wd, nicely done. I won't get a chance to try to beat it but tbh I was struggling to go any quicker anyhow.

Sounds like a plan... all the settings okay on PS4. What are we setting the weather conditions and opponent skill at (I used clear and 50, when I was checking).

Thanks for the offer but I want to avoid that slippery slope of no return . I already spend too much time gaming and important real life stuff keeps getting relegated to "tomorrow".

I didn't mean a separate thread or table, more a 'mini' competition between us pad controller players for the best time as there's no way we can get into 1:54s or less on these.

I originally said opponent skill to 100%, that way it's not guaranteed everyone will win. Challenge should be harder too, weather clear is good though.
