Originally it was standard setup with no changes allowed, and it's what I do. Im not too bothered if people make changes, as for me this is just for fun anyhow. It's better to have more participants than rules. smile
If you're in Time Trial how do you adjust the setup anyways? What am I missing?

Just go on free practice. then you can go back to the pits and alter setup.

So a first few actual timed laps ended with a 1:52:534...time can be found though (using a pad is not the best idea round this track)

I found this: http://cars-stats-steam.wmdportal.com/index.php/le...
Quite interesting to see what assists are on and whether the car has standard setup or not.

Nice combo, liking the Clio Cup and its lift off oversteer biggrin

I couldn't get it to stick on the left handed before the casino. :-( hard track

As you come up the hill and the track starts to level out look for the hatched pedestrian crossing, keeping the car to the right, you have two options at that point as you get to the crossing, either ram it down a couple of gears and slide it round (quite fun smile ), or brake and take a wide line then bring it back to almost clip the barrier on the left before turning in to casino.

Hope that helps a little?

Doesn't say what's changed though. The only thing I change if I have to is the steering ratio, my wheel just doesn't like some but is fine with others. I had to change the Mercedes 300SL but the same era Aston Martin DBR1 was fine, in fact it probably needed going the other way as it was very twitchy.

I used to do exactly the same and change the ratio, particularly helpful with the 1600 escort for example. But I stopped doing that as I figured it was still effectively modifying the setup.
Although to be honest, given that even the public community events dont offer a level playing field, it would be nice to have an open setup policy but that might make the gap even wider from the casual player to the enthusiast that can improve the setup of a car significantly?

But yes the website is a bit disapointing but I guess it would be a nightmare to collect the changes from the miriad of possible changes!

If you right click on the leaderboard and view source or something like that is gives you a data file. I used it to publish results of similar time trials I competed in during development. Trouble is I think it only lists PC players.

I will try and dig out the spreadsheet and see if it still works. Interestingly if you download the data there is a lit of all cars and circuits even those not yet unlocked smile. I really will have a look at that. smile

Well my spreadsheet works smile sadly only PC users though. I think the cars and tracks listings have been updated to the live in-game ones as I can't see anything that isn't in the game/dlc so no spoilers sorry

Finally should have the new wheel up by the weekend, so I will hVe a go with the G27 and see how it compares...I've heard good things so I'm a bit excited smile. A beast of a combo as well, nice but slightly scary combo pick Tron smile

This car is a bit feisty to be fair, needs a gentle right foot and if you shift too early it will bite. Takes a lot of practice to master, and Cadwell is a bumpy narrow beast of a track as well...very tough combo.
