Mmm, am I doing something wrong. When in car the only option I have is TC on or off, ABS & Stability are just n/a when you switch them. TBH though TC doesn't have much of an affect whether on or off. The only weird part is if you do get it out of shape a fair way, hitting the brakes straightens it up, very unnatural really.

Slowly improving. With a clean lap into the mid 24's will be possible but always mess up a couple of corners. A bit of a swine to get to turn in and understeers even on light mid corner throttle and seem to have to wait an age to put on the power. Turning in on the brakes to get the rear coming round seem the quickest way with my driving style but causes loss of time if not absolutely perfect.

Notice that the top of the table is PC based here. Is there any difference in driving dynamics or is it just us console racers are just a bit rubbish

Look in your main options/gameplay settings. If this is set to real and the car doesn't have those aids you can't switch them on in car even if you have a button mapped. i get around this by setting it to All, but having ABS/TC and SC off in the main settings. I can then use the mapped buttons to switch them on and off if I need them. I usually only use ABS tbh.

Yep, I normally have the settings to real, then I can always turn things off as & when. So that tag in the WR is just taking your base game settings, not actually that particular car/track ones. Some cars warrant TC but I am one of those who like to steer from the rear & it can tighten your line/turn in. Still cant get into the 1:24 though lol :-(

Speaking for myself, it's because I'm rubbish... part of the issue is I don't think I play the game(s) enough to be any good. I've just looked and Project Cars I've owned for just over 33 weeks but have only racked up 30hrs 43mins of playing time...

Been doing low 24s must have been 9 or 10 in a row. Kept looking at my splits (top right) seeing green, 32.7s 1st sector on one, kept making a mistake at different points. Thought sod this, how the hell do I turn the sector times off (it's logged online anyway above) went out for the last few minutes and the first lap I did was a 1m23.6s...!

It's staying off.

Thanks - was also on a mobile feeding my 8 week old son who is keeping me from doing any more practice.
Potential shows a 1:24 but with only being able to grab 15 mins play time in the past week to have a go I doubt I will get a chance to improve. To be honest I'm pleased to be as close as I am, normally I'm way off the pace... maybe no practice makes perfect!
