You need to be doing 5+ laps to get the tyres warmed up and a rhythm for this.


I would like to add to the "things that annoy me" thread Project Cars time trial always starting in the middle of the track approaching a corner and in the wrong gear most of the time, but I think some people wouldn't get it. I've sometimes stopped (I hate not having control) when I get control and reversed back up the track to the previous corner and started from there.

Answering my own question here. As I have a decent PC I thought I would try the same combo that I struggled to get into the 25's on the PC version of Project Cars

First lap I was within a few tenths and then after about 10 laps I was down to 1:25.027. I even went wide with all 4 wheels on the grass at one point and still much faster than the PS4. That's nearly a second better than on the PS4. The difference in feel is massive. Manually copied the settings over from the PS4 for force feedback and the difference is night and day. The car feels as though it has more grip and the under steer although has not disappeared is much less. Turn in is better with more stability.

Will have to do the time trials on PC

2:15 so far, difficult to get a clean lap so won't add it to the table yet.
How does the potential time work? There is no way I could go sub 2 mins PC!
