I left Tron in on the top row because it's only a matter of time smile

I can't get the hang of Dirt Rally. I find it really frustrating, which is weird because I prefer cars that slide in PCars and other track based games. I just can't do rally.

Very kind, thank you smile
Interesting combo, certainly a fine line between faith that its going to keep sliding and going forward and terror that your spinning 360 degrees!

Just had a go at my father in laws, on PC with a Logitech Rumblepad, his username is MadMick, P15 overall, not bad!

Playing on one screen feels really weird now....

First couple of goes on this.

How do you get sector times? I'm using the Time-trial section, correct?

Either have the sector overlay turned on (I forget what it is) I have it turned off now as it's distracting to me. But if you do you can quickly write them down before quitting or screenshot it.

Or, do what I do and go here - http://cars-stats-steam.wmdportal.com/index.php/le... it's linked to your Project Cars profile so always captures your times, select the track and car. Find yourself and then hover the mouse over your lap time and the sector times are shown smile

It might not update straight away but it will appear.

How about some Formula A on Spa-Francorchamps for A change of flavour this week?

Let's go crazy, and when the elevator tries to break down...

That has KERS and DRS to mess about with.

I am predicting 10 seconds+ difference between fastest and slowest at spa... its a mother of a track to nail a lap.

Yep, I will need to map some buttons, I've hardly ever driven the formula A as a result of my well documented hatred of air magic, commonly referred to as downforce...

I do recognise there are some wierdos knocking around who love it though....nutters!

I'd settle for ten seconds, I've just had a go and I'm 30+ seconds off the pace!!

This is the first time I've driven any of the Formula A cars and I can't get used to:
  • how late you can brake
  • how much grip they have in the corners
  • how responsive the steering is
  • etc. etc.
I haven't even tried to use KERS or DRS yet...

fill in the blanks smile

My time is the 290th best on the WMB Portal list, but is only the 7th quickest using the default setup. I guess it's a popular online racing combination.

Ps.

KERS - needs to be held down to use.
DRS - one press on, off when you brake (or press again to turn off) <---- remember this at Eau Rouge where you don't tend to brake biggrin

I'm using half the KERS on the run down to the start line, then the other half up the hill after Eau Rouge (with DRS I see 200mph), then I let it recharge and us it again at the end on the run down to the line.
