Fell foul of the default setup when it wasn't thing and managed to do a low 1:27. Bugger!
Still not A bad time I think. I'm away for a week now so have fun chaps, good combo smile

I've checked mine as I'm sure I drove this combo in career mode. Looks like I'd reduced the tyre pressures slightly but reset now.

What are the rules for entering? Wouldn't mind having a go. Sorry if I've missed them.

- default setup?
- dry weather?

I have the PC version with an Xbox 360 controller at the moment but a Fanatec Porsche GT3RS wheel on the way specifically for this and Assetto Corsa.

Yup as above! Time trial mode, default car set up.

I was eyeing up a G29 today, but I can't bring myself to buy it at the moment - As I have nowhere to mount it to use, as my TV is at the end of my bed!

I need to move it really and set it up on the old PC desk but that's a lot of effort.. I may re-jig my room. :-)

I may well look, was going to move my Bed over to one side to clear up some space on the other side. There would be enough room for a Play seat then... :-)

I think I'll buy one next month... got a big gay wing to buy for the car this month laugh

This spoiler!

Going to have it dipped in faux-carbon laugh
Just need something funny on the underside.

Regarding the gaming chair... something like this?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152088568478?_trksid=p20...

As long as that is secure enough for the pedals and wheels not to wobble around.

Good combo and I think there's a few more tenths to be had if I can get first corner and chicane done better. Anybody else dropping to first on the second from last hairpin? It doesn't feel right but seems to be a touch faster than exiting in second.

Tron, not sure if your S1 split is right, its almost 1.5 seconds faster then mine. If it is, please tell me how you did it wink

1st in the second to last hairpin here too which is costing me time, so hard getting the power back down in 1st and keeping straight on a pad but as you say 2nd is just to low to get a decent exit.

That's the chair I was thinking of xjay but don't pay that for it. I'd keep an eye out for when they go on offer, or gumtree.

Yeah second seems too slow to pick up. I find if you cut across from the apex to the outside kerb in an almost straight line, you can get the power down quite well. Unless I mash it with too much steering applied...

I imagine on an external TV style replay it doesn't look pretty though.

It looks ideal! Nice and fold-upabble. If I had the space I'd get a more permanent solution and have a seperate room for the games console but not in a position yet
I'll keep an eye out :-)

Regarding the hairpins, I drop to first in both.
It is VERY hard on game pad. I try to straight line them so have a very late apex and just straight line the exit.

I have one of those, bought from https://www.boysstuff.co.uk/gaming-chairs/racing-s...
It's reasonably solid when in use, I'd imagine not as good as the regular play seats but certainly good enough. Folds away quite nicely when not in use.

I have NO IDEA how Tron does it lol
I'm level coming into the first corner even gap him at the end of the Craner Curves but then he just drives away from me
Grrrrr more laps required

A quick question for anyone else on ps4 is there any way of filtering the global leaderboards so it just shows the car you are in rather than jumbling every car from that class on to the list, which in this case is a lot of cars. Always curious to see how our times compare to the main list, fastest I can see at the moment for this combo is a 1.27:387 although I guess that could well be on a modified setup

I've checked Tron's time (added the 3 sectors together), and I think his S1 should be a 23.069 if the other numbers are correct as well as the overall. Adding the sectors gives 1:27.388.

This is a tough one, very frustrating, both of the hairpins and nailing the chicane, in fact almost every corner is a real challenge. Love it!

I've restarted about 40 times to get that time, so many spins.
