Not getting ahead of myself but anyone else want to make a combo selection? I like the surprise!

Not sure how to update the table. Set this the other night on Laguna Seca and haven't had a chance to try again as all i managed subsequently that evening was to lower my potential lap to a 1.22.8 without ever stringing it all together.

Shame the Pagani Huayra BC is against the rules as it's a turbo monster!

First go! I don't know this track well at all because I know Suzuka very well, so I struggled to get a flow on the fake one. Very challenging though - that car is a monster.

Fixed your first sector Tron, you had my split smile

My PC is struggling to push this using the Vive. Dropping frames all over the place on the last set of corners. It must be using all its power to generate the pretty pretty cockpit of the Huayra. And the flickers of sunlight through the sunroof are going to give me a fit if I play too much!

How many times have you braced when crashing, or taken your hands off the wheel?

For whatever reason, I just can't improve significantly in S2. I managed to take ~0.3 off my best time but it's not worth posting. I don't know really what I'm doing wrong! I know Suzuka so well but for whatever reason, I just can't seem to go faster. It seems up through Dunlop (long left hander up the hill) I just understeer, and understeer, and understeer and then the boost builds and I have no traction!

I'll try again tomorrow but you might have me beat here boys.

The way (i think) to take that is to keep it tight in a low gear on the first left then accelerate as it opens up then up a gear early and use the slide to get the car round over the hill.
If you get it right you pretty much apex the left hander before the breaking point.

Alright chaps, long time no participate....

I have recently defected to the PC for reasons of Virtual Reality so, thought I'd give this time trial lark another go. I am WAY slower in VR, plus I have everything turned off now, including ABS which probably doesn't help! Not sure how much time I'll have for this (so much VR stuff to try!!) but, thought I'd pop my head in and say hello wavey

I've done this quite a bit. First time I crashed hard in an open wheeler, I even threw my hands up to protect my head and my stomach went a bit weird!! All good fun though thumbup

If this car drives like that in real life it should be removed from sale, it's horrible...

Crashing isn't so bad for me, but every time I have to reverse, I almost hurl in my lap! Really strange.

I really like it! Could not string a lap together in the Ford, this is challenging still but driveable lol.

It's understeer city and has no traction to go along with it!

The Ford V8 is my favourite car and second is the Radical RXC Turbo.

Indeed it is, and just looking across to join the track cleanly and quickly after an off in an online race smile

This is like learning a different language, but I think I'm getting it now. Early braking and drifting through corners seems to help. I switched on Stability but not Traction, and I always use ABS. Not sure if I'll get another crack at this one. Keep at it gents!
