I always had my wheel moving and sometimes pulled off my desk. Solved it by taking 2 thin plastic washers and cutting a straight edge on each. Then screwing them to the underside edge of my desk. So that they line up with both clamps (straight edge of the washer against the clamp) and prevent them being pulled towards me.

Another recommendation for the wheel stand pro here. I've been using one for years. Folds up quickly and easily to be moved out of the way. A playseat on the other hand, is a part of the furniture....literally!I'm disappointed I won't be able to use my G29 till next month I think as I can't quite stretch to a Playseat and no way of mounting my wheel in the short term :-(
playseat challenge looks the best for me , i think it was recommended many pages ago.
it folds up and will fit under my bed or in my cupboard (along with half of my scirocco lol).
it's about £160 and by the time i've bought a wheel stand and an appropriate chair that I then have to have sat around in my room it just makes sense to get the playseat

Definitely underpowered for the circuit, but I can imagine for a race with everyone slipstreaming this would be a lot of fun.
