Yeah I registered for it, can't see me doing too well but it'll be fun trying. I think from what B2BS said when he mentioned on here it is a fixed setup for everyone to use, not sure if it is default or there will be a pre made custom setup for everyone to use?

Great lap Pearcy especially for a pad! I tried back on a pad only just having the g27 set up and I couldnt get past a 1.10.2xx for the life of me.

Right, how am I half a second slower in 2 corners

Just about being in a rythym, had a quick 10 minutes yesterday and I did 3 1.09.4xx laptimes in a row so obviously plenty of time to improve.

Looking at Pearcy's lap he seems to be running into the limiter far more, he seems slower in some corners but his sector times seem about the same or better

Unfortunately won't get a chance now to improve, I'm happy for my first proper G29 go :-)

I wasn't really convinced staying in 4th was faster i don't think it was, i was just trying it when i did the lap!!

Pad is pretty good on this game but there is just one serious limitation which shows on tracks like this and that is steering lock, if you look at my lap and someone with a wheel they can carry more speed through corners with the extra steering. I understand there are limiations with it like smoothness and car control but to have less steering than someone with a wheel puts you at a disadvantage straight away.

I've just picked up a PS4 (Argos bargain) and I think my T500 will work on it, so I can have double the fun now

Yup, you need the G29 to work with PS4.

No need I have a gt omega cockpit in my mancave . I also have a playseat office chair with the removable centre post.
