I've ordered disc version and saved a tenner, so I don't have it yet. I'm going to be on pad for a while until I get the mancave sorted, I can't get it near the wheel yet. Definitely up for some racing though

Thursday and Friday don't work for me, the kids swim both nights. I could maybe do 9 onwards on a Thursday if I'm lucky.

Fun driving that car, although can't master either Redgate or especially Coppice with its guess where the apex is hiding over that brow.

I've just found a circuit I've not driven yet 'Rouen les Essarts' - any good for a combo? (If I dont know the circuit at least then I've got a good excuse for my slow times )

Hi wondering if anyone got any good advice for me to get a bit quicker?
I maybe don't have a great amount of time but I'm usually on most nights, is it just a case of more practice needed?
I've tried watching YouTube videos and I don't know where the time is made up. A while ago there was a combo at oulton park I think and I watched some videos people had linked (scotracer I think) and I could not see much difference, he did seem a lot smoother where I do seem to be a bit rushed, anyway I'm babbling but any advice welcome.

Can you upload a lap of yours to YouTube? I'm far from the quickest but I remember from the lfs days it was always a lot easier to watch a lap or two from the person asking for advice and then you can get everyones input on where you can improve

I think ultimately it's a combination of a few things, but (other than being super smooth with inputs) nailing the braking zones and getting on the power as early as possible is where there's chunks of time. On these time trials I often end up taking corners in higher gears and carrying far more speed after a few laps which sees the seconds drop off. I struggle on the longer tracks though as it takes far longer to learn the flow for me.

Just in case anyone lives near the Overclockers shop (Newcastle I believe), they are running a Project Cars VR racing competition that will lead to some real-life racing with PalmerSport (if you qualify).

Alas, I'm South Coast and gutted that you actually have to go up there rather than set a leaderboard time. Still, perhaps some time triallers fancy it. If nothing else you get to try Project Cars in the Vive...
