My new shifters from Thrustmaster won't be with me until Thursday so I'm struggling with double shifts at the moment. It could worse it could be downshifts lol.

I cba to dismantle everything and attach my g27, after 2 weeks of laryngitis, and the last week with a chest infection I really don't have much energy anyhow. I wish red wine could cure all ills, I'm gasping for a drink but the antibiotics haven't seen it off yet.

I could find another 1.5 seconds at least. The car just handles weirdly, feels very softly sprung.

Yesterday I was able to get 0.7 second improvement on my s1 time. Then i kept messing up as I only had 5 minutes to play.

Anyway, I'm going to give this a go tonight as wifey and the vermin are oot and aboot. First order of business is a nice curry, then a session on Project Cars with some serious volume for that authentic in car feel (none of the usual "can you turn it down please I can't hear the TV" gubbins). I love my family but the occasional night off is frickin awesome and very rare ...

Sadly, beer is off the menu due to antibiotics still...

i'd quite like to do this car on a smaller track, i don't think the track suits the car at all.

The shortest Cadwell Circuit (can't remember the exact name sorry) is the best for these trackday cars, go past the start, then hairpin right and back up through the forest. Tricky but great fun in Atom's / XBow / Caterhams...
