I have been hammering Donington National in a Formula Gulf 1000 since the weekly trial, and I still can't get below a 1.07 but I am using a pad. I will have to get the G920 out, but I'll still struggle to get a 1.05 I think, let alone a 1.04 - you boys are quick!

I did a lap in a Formula A though, and now I can't see my Formula Gulf 1000 laptime of 1.07 dead on the time trial leaderboard on the Xbox One, as my Formula A lap has replaced it... I can't seem to check my record per car and track, only by class. Is this normal? Am I being an idiot?

I'm still a second off the overall!
Their is a lot of different lines to use even though its a small track and the FR-S is fun to drive but a little under powered for bigger tracks so this suits it well. Glad yous enjoyed the combo.

As long as I get my pads swapped over in time I'm doing Brands in Feb. That video will be helpful!

Sounds good, What car are you taking? Is it for a trackday? Brands GP is my all time favourite but their are limited opertunities to drive that layout. Indy circuit is awesome too as I'm sure you'll know! Oh, take it easy on the first corner! I had to figure that out for myself going massively sideways through the gravel!

Anyway, anyone want to choose a new combo?

Managed a 1:11.6 last night but didn't realise it was a custom setup.
Retried this morning for the above time with a reset but it's got the good old custom bug

I've given in to temptation and bought a G29 to use on PS4, £130 with the shifter today only deal. I promised SWMBO that I would sell the DFGT and G27 to get some money back. I'm sure the G29 pedal are plastic though, so I might mix n match and keep the G27 pedals instead.She's insisting on wrapping it up for christmas so won't be using it until then.

G29 pedals are same as g27 but with a mod in the brake to make it more resistant ... basically Logitech did the same mod people did

I find the hardest corner the bloody long right near the end of S2. One wheel on the curb and it's spin-city.

Close Derwin, I'm sure we can both find a few tenths. My potential is 1.11.435 but I'd die before I got that

I have a cunning plan...I have the PS4, and now a G29 to play Project Cars on it...

I'm trying to get the green light for an LED projector with a 110" screen to play on (both on special offer on amazon)...I've got my playseat office chair to wheel up in front of it.

I really hope I can get this sorted, it will be friggin epic
