So having got a G29 for a bargain at Curry's, and Project Cars today, I thought I would crack on and give this a go. Still got a long way to go! Unfortunately my PC crashed just as I was getting into it, so I don't have the exact time. It wasn't competitive though.

Hopefully get a chance to practice again tomorrow.

If you haven't already mate, make sure you tweal the dead zonesdown to zero and play around with the ffb.

Mine out the box had a weird deadzone 5 degrees either side of dead ahead.
Helps a lot.

I cannot remember what my steering deadzone is, other than it is not 0, but is the next lowest setting. I find 0 twitchty.
Don't think i have played an awefull lot with the settings in PCars, but i have changed the settings in the logitech profiler.
I'll post a screenshot up later.

If you don't want to get into the detail of it (or like me not got a clue where to start), go to projectcarsgame.com forum and search for Jack Spade FFB tweaker files. There are file sets that you load into your documents/projectcars user profile that enhance different effects. To change from one set to another you exit the game and load a new set in then try again, its pretty simple. All the instructions will be in the zip file you can download from there.

Been having another go, I've been quicker in each sector, but never manage to tie them all together. Deadzone was 0 out of the box, it all feels good, although I have to be honest I wouldn't know where to start with tweaking it. And I have no idea what a Radical feels like in real life.

It's a struggle in PCars2, default setup hasn't been optimised so I don't get out of 4th gear. Lateral grip is better though. Can't go quicker than high 1:35's

NextGen are having a TT on pcars and AC at the same time, BMW M3 / Silverstone GP.

AC feels horrible compared to pcars imo

Might have to hae=ve a go at that. I've had to turn the kerb and road effects right down otherwise it shakes my teeth out. The FFB is totally different, I prefer Pcars too, but I'm determined to keep trying AC out rather than sticking to one game.

Yeah I'm going to stick with AC too, just prefer pcars.
On a slight tangent, I won the last NextGen pcars TT in the Caterham R500 at brands. Really pleased with that given they have a lot of handy drivers over there and some pro racers too!

Had a crack at this last night but only had 20 minutes spare, could only get into the 1.35.9s - you guys are something else! I must adjust my controller settings because it's twitchy as anything and far too difficult to correct oversteer.

Then I guess I'll have to change them all again for the wheel on Christmas day?!?

I prefer Assetto Corsa to Project Cars for one AC doesn't disconnect you from time trial when driving as I just was.

PS Steam is down as well. Been over half an hour now.
