Im sure I'll get demoted soon hahaha. I think theres a good chunk of time to gain.

I spend a lot of time in the P1 at Nurburgring GP and so I'm so I'm tune with the lines, braking points and weight transfer of that, im really struggling to adjust to this Renault.

I cant get the first sector or the final chicane right to save my life. I reckon another second can be gained if you are on the right side of the evil track limits which never seemed to bother me in the Macca haha.

So I got myself a G29 when they were on sale so that I can use the PS4 to play.

I now have 2 spare wheels, anybody interested?

I have a G27 which has been used but is in good nick and never gave me any problems (£85 plus postage/delivery)
I have a Driving Force GT wheel which is a few years old but has hardly been used, I upgraded to G27 after obout 6 months using it. (£50 plus postage/delivery)

Both are PC but not XBOne or PS4 compatible.

The Dfgt is a bit plasticky but it works well and I know they were very popular. G27 is a great bit of kit, will actually be sad to see it go, but I promised the missus when I got the G29 it was on the understanding I sold the surplus wheels.

I'm getting used to the shakers I bought for christmas now, my first runs on the rather featureless silverstone didn't do them justice. Other tracks seem to provide much more feedback. I quite like it now, I'm glad I didn't fork out for the full fat/priced buttshakers though.

I think my 5yr old game install SSD is failing, I keep getting disk write errors on Steam updates but chkdsk is finding nothing...PC is installed on there now and I've taken everything non-essential off. OS is on a newer SSD so no big deal, but it might interrupt my racing this weekend...

Upgrade to an M2 drive
I swapped my failing SSD to one - couldn't believe the speed difference

Bugger I've ordered a new SSD. I don't think I have a spare PCI-e slot anyway...it's a 5yr old MOBO and I've got a big GFX card and a secondary sound card to run SimVibe
