Ha you know what i mean! Don't think i can make that kind of time up and your lap looked pretty nailed on! I loose most of the time over the mountain as i flick the aids on for that section without them im constantly spinning over the little bump at the apex and the tc really slows you down round there.

I did find something interesting though you guys try it out and tell me if you think the same. Smash your car up as much as you can front back and side and then drive it! Mine felt so much better!! And i reckon faster..

Updated time same position. Hope to get back on, but I had a go on a full motion rig at Thruxton today, quite an experience. My setup will feel tame in comparison. It was Live for Speed at Blackwood GP in FOX, 5% fuel so only really 2 hot laps, but I had a couple of goes and got best time of the day in my Project CARS polo shirt no less lol.

Lost another couple of tenths this morning but one thing I have noticed after watching Ian P's lap is your gearing is longer than mine by about 10mph in each gear - max I see in 3rd is 108 you 118mph resulting in you going quicker over the start line by a good 5+mph.

Are you changing up when the green gear icon bottom right turns red, or when the red rev limit light on the dashboard lights up?

Go with the dash light.

I am so inconsistent it hurts had a proper session, probably 25 laps last night. 1 in 4 counting (bloody mountain, wheelspin in 2nd has me off the track so many times. Either that or it bogs down and feels glacial). Getting mid 1:32's on laps that count.

Then randomly put a 1:31.2 in . 1.6 seconds faster, no idea where I made it up, I Didn't keep an eye on the sector times.

Will update the table when i'm back home and have the actual time in front of me.

Auto gears will kill your times jogon, if you haven't already change to manual gears and set up shift to square and down to x

Another tenth shaved. Can't string together the perfect lap. I think I'm overdriving the first sector as I carry an overheated tyre into that big braking zone at the start of the second sector and it makes it hard to hit the apex.

Managed to string some decent corners together although you can see plenty that I wasn't on line through. So plenty to be gained. I'm also not flat out over the jump through fear of dying. So I guess I could get sub 1:29.5 but not much more from me I'm afraid.

I did unlock the consistency is king trophy for this Time Trial though!

Found some time tonight. I just had to break in to the 1:28s.

Managed to get third on the PC leaderboard, then went and had a few online races before popping back to take a photo of my time so I could post my 'victory' on PH... I've only already been overtaken and am back in 4th. Gutted, and 3rd place driver is one of ours you git!

I bet he's looking forward to posting his time so I won't spoil it... but nice job

Think I've squeezed as much out of this combo as I'll ever get, great fun. Looking forward to the next one now.

I'm so rubbish, but really enjoying getting used to a wheel. I've done 16 laps so far, best is a 1.35.563. Then I had a random bug where my car shot sideways and ended up on a 45° angle. I thought a wheel had come off, but watching the reply, it's some random bug!

Can someone add me to prop the table up, hope to get another few goes tomorrow and maybe watch a few videos as some of my lines are very erratic!

Also, where did this bug occur? I had it happen to me on the jump at the start of the final sector. It was like an exaggerated reaction to going a bit sideways over the crest. I saved the video so might try to find it tonight, totaled the car!

I've shaved a couple of tenths off my official time, but I can't remember it. Anyone know how to find it in the game? Says I'm not on the leader board because all the top times are set in the CLK. Stupid idea.

I managed to dip into the 28's twice but have both disallowed for a slight track infringement that didn't gain me any time.
