Set my wheel to exactly 900 tonight. Not sure if it made any difference, though my bloody thumb hurts after an hour of driving so something has changed. Think finding a few hundredths was just blind perseverance/luck though. I reckon that's my limit in terms of skill and missus getting hacked off for this combo. Have enjoyed it as much as the Cadwell/BMW pairing a while back

I'll spend more time on tweaking the ffb when we have a combo I don't enjoy as much but thanks for sharing Billy, definitely intend to get stuck into the settings.

Would have been nice to get into the 1:39s but, ran out of time before work. Still quite scrappy though and unlikely I'll have any more time this week (famous last words!).

Anybody else playing career mode, I'm loving it although the AI speed is up and down. I find I'm having to tweak the AI difficulty slider and allow restarts in the practice sessions until I can find the right balance. On some combos I can easily beat them on 85, then on others they're pushing me all the way. I'm getting a bit better thanks to actually getting some seat time this week, so the slider is mainly going to the right.

The other thing about the career mode is it's giving me some great ideas for combos for PHTT events

Yes, i play the career mode too, I found that 95% seems to be a good challange and that i struggle mostly with cars that lack rear grip compared to the AI.
I also find that unless i have had a good qually or an excellent start i really struggle to make any gains but if i do get a good start and stick with the top 3 i can usually stay there or gain a position.

I'm enjoying career mode tho not made it as far at the super karts yet

Restarted the game as started using the wheel and wanted to enjoy it from the start

I had it set to 100 for full Competitive until the update and now can't keep
Up with them with the bmw 1m on spa. Set at 85 and i keep them behind
With me lapping half a sec a lap quicker.

Did the mclaren full 3 hour race and was lapping a sec quicker to 3 secs a lap
At times and managed to lap every car within that 3 hour race

I played career mode initially, got through the karting stages but then got to a wet race at Brands where the AI behaved as though it was dry so gave up. I think they've fixed that in a patch since then but, I haven't given it another go since.

I ain't going to improve the slightest this week

Can't even make it round the first 2 right hand corners
Without under steering or spinning by getting on the power to early

Got ahead of speckles ghost until the double right hander then he drives
Straight past as I struggle with understeer through the multipite bends
Keeping back from the kerbs as keep getting cut track if I hit the kerb

Frustrating can't complete a full decent lap without sum thing stupid happening

Ah well back to career mode

Well i thought trying to improve was a bit pointless but nevertheless i stuck at it, didnt think i could beat Born2bSlow but i thought i might stand a chance of
regaining 2nd.
Just had one of those laps were it sort of came together, still there was a couple of mistakes where i think another couple of tenths could be taken off!

Well, this is nothing more than a small personal victory for me - I wanted to get into the 1:39s and I did.....barely!!

It should have been much closer to Derwin's Revenge but, I got a bit over-excited at the end and fked up the final hairpin!

Also I've downloaded the new car packs then looked at my Steam stats I've only put 12 hrs in PCars so far, but I'll have more time over the next few weeks to increase that.

I'll be up for this. I can get the kids off the PC as they're back at school. I wouldn't mind but they both have an xb360 with minecraft and guess what they want to play on my bloody PC! Cheeky gets. Anyway, might not be so competitive now that I'm back at work and with less time on my hands

Combo is your call as winner Tron, I knew there was a 1:38 in there but it would need to be absolutely spot on which is difficult in such a tricky car, good work well done!

Tricky, some simple tweaks to kill the power oversteer would really help but no tweaking

I have tried some of your time trials but always been about 10secs off the pace and always too embarrassed to post the times. Did not try that last one but might have a go on this one when I get in from work, so I read that it's no tuning so is that to make it more equal?
Is there nothing else happening on here for project cars no online racing or anything?

It's pretty much just straight into time trial with a car right out the box so need to delete any changes that have been made

It's hard to get everyone on at the same time to have a online session which would be cool and possibly endurance it mini

The first two sectors i'm fairly quick, but the last sector it seems if i try to carry just that little bit of extra corner speed i'm suddently competing in a drift contest!
Loose so much time in that last sector

Same here carrying speed through the last 4 corners is really tricky. Gotcha though Tron
I did a lap earlier where I was 0.5 up but lost it in the right/left corners after the t2 line. I've spent so much time in the wall on this one.
