just had a go at this and when I looked on the leader board your 1.50s would put you top 8 the quickest being a 1.46.087 so I think I'm quite happy with my 1.53.732 hoping I get in the 1.52s

My 1:50 don't even get me in the top 20 on the ps4 with the fastest in the
Low 1:45


I managed a 1:52 then decided to use one of the fastest guys ghosts and with a
Stock car vs a tuned car I could only do my best as the ghost left me on the straights.

One tip I'll give is at the start don't use full
Throttle until your ready to punch it through last corner to start the flying lap
Then you'll get a full tank of kers to shove you up the hill


I braked way to early for the blind corner at the corvette bridge where
I reacon I could have made it to the high 1:49

The top times will be using modified car setups with soft tyres.
I can keep up with the top PC time with soft tyres for the most part but i haven't completed a full lap with softs as not to skew my ghost.
Going back to the BAC Mono at Laguna Seca, with softs my laptimes were 4 seconds faster!

I keep loosing it at the downhill braking and carrying too much speed round the sweeping right hand. Ran wide trying to get back on the power to early

No doubt I'll be a sec of the pace by end of week ;-)

what gear do you use for the first tight left before the bridge?
i'm first for that then a touch of brake at brigde then second

I was taking it in first but managed to brake tad earlier and carry some speed to take it in 2nd.

I hit the apex in first and throws the backend out but hut in 2nd and wasn't as wild

Turn 1 is where I made my time braked heavy and down to 3rd and straight back on the gas and got good run round
Running onto exit kerb.. Struggled to do it again tan wide and spun few times

Under corvette bridge is where I keep messing up either braking to late or early and the kerb throws you into the gravel



Really enjoying this combo and feel a 1:49 possible

If you drop to first at the apex it helps the car rotate...diff steer on downshift It's easy to outbrake yourself there though.

At the next left I always brake and get off it in 2nd before the crest otherwise I end up all over the place

I complete 1 in 5 laps that I start probably, I usually bin it at some point and then hit restart. At most I would do 3 or 4 consecutive laps before a restart, usually because I hit a wall and got the "you appear to have some aero damage" while looking down my crumpled bonnet, thanks Mr Engineer I'd actually spotted that myself ta!


Totally number of laps depends on how long I get before either my back, the kids or the missus start grumbling at me. I usually manage 3 or 4 twenty to thirty minute sessions. Number of laps depends on how many times I bin it.

I usually restart every lap so got perfect tyres each lap
Did 3 laps max with this combo as want a max tank of kers
To start the flying lap with

Took me just over 2 hours to do that time last night and doubt I'll be able
To take that first corner the same again

I probably spend a couple of hours a week at most.
I find that it depends on the track if i need to do my fast lap on the first lap or the 2nd or 3rd, sometimes i find that slightly worn tyres let the car flow through the corner better and sometimes with too much grip i actually end up loosing corner speed, but probably more due to a bad entry and trying to carry too much speed

Had a hour free when got in from work and did some career before trying again but jumping from
A kart to this took some getting used to especially getting on the throttle to early to start the lap

Made a we vid of
My Ffb settings as there were none on the list

I'm 44th in the overall and 37th from the p30's

I pressed the share button when loading lucky enough was able to notice to start again so
Had to do it in 2 parts

Only managed a 50.9 but if you get turn 1 right then rest of lap should come to you

Managed to eek out a second or so but I dont think i'll be able to gian much more, may 3 possibly 4 tenths but thats about it.

Back online so had another go, replaced 1m49.452 above with quicker time and sector times this time.

Lost 2/10ths at the final corner missing the apex and not being able to get on throttle quicker, without running too wide.

Video uploading. Oddly the KERS stays at 100 on the in-game replay any other PC people see that on theirs (not live capture).

another hour spent chasing my ghost and managed to ace the corvette corner, clipped the kerb on the last corner screwed up final part to the line. Went for a second attempt but spun of first corner!!

Went to replay and only had half the lap so hopefully get on later to record chasing the ghost
