This game started off fun enough, but I'm getting really fed up of the fact that your body just lies in place whenever you log off. Several times now I've logged off for the night, come back the following evening to boot it up and find I'm dead, and upon returning to my base I've found someone has bashed their way in, killed me and my mate and stolen everything.
Quite often I'm seeing in sidechat people complaining that someone has broken into their base, killed their tamed dinos and just generally griefed. Considering the amount of time it takes to build a base and tame dinos, to have it all whipped away from you like that is infuriating.

Dilos you can use as a protection squad, say you have 3 following and will attack any dino that attacks you!
In PvP cant you code lock your house to stop entering your house and put up spikes around them to ward off dinos? How easy is it to distroy a stone house? I always strip off all cloths and put in house when log off as I havent yet put a wall around my house yet, I have foolishly gone for stone walls, takes a while!
This is very alpha dont forget, there is alot more to come including interaction with the fallen parts spaceship that are down. This has just started!

You can lock doors, but it wont stop people hacking down your walls to break in. I'm sure once you put the time in to put stone walls up you'll be more secure, but in the mean time you'll have to put up with people forcing entry and either stealing everything, smashing your utilities or both. Hell, I could just about live with that if your body disappeared when you logged out, but to be killed as well as all the above just takes things too far.I'd be very surprised if that aspect ever changed though, there are other games, like Reign of Kings that have the same feature, so I see it as being a permanent thing as this is just a copy of that game but in a different environment.

can someone give me an insight into this please?
I really really want to like it. I played hundreds and hundreds of hours on Arma2 overpoch. Current game of choice is Battleroyale on Arma3 purely for its log in and go. No faffing about which is what in the end stopped me playing arma 2. Spent hour after hour defending the base and not actually doing anything.
Reviews always start off as amazing, then you read that everyone keeps dying in their sleep and its too frustrating to be fun. Also it seems to be a very graphically heavy game.
I run arma 2 and 3 ok, think i'll be ok? Don't really want to spend money upgrading just for one game.

No, not my 4 Raptors, Dilo, Carbo, 2x Trikes, Scorpion, Philo, Anky, Pteranodon and Trex!
They're all nicely tucked in to our Dino Yard.
Managed to get down into a cave yesterday and resurfaced with 100+ meat, about 130 hide, some metal and some crystal. Was a close shave though as I went it a little unprepared.
