I bought ff7r on release, back on ps4. I only played just under halfway through (in afew weeks) before not playing since. I want to pick it up again but feel because of how long it's been I want to start from the beginning again. I also would like to get rebirth, but don't have a ps5...

what's the best option here?will rebirth have the first part? could i get the first part free for having owned the first one/having a save file?
How does the ps4 copy compare graphically on the ps5 against a ps5 copy?

part of me is thinking playing the first part again on a ps5 when i get that, then doing the dlc and rebirth after. however i know sometimes with these things they add versions at no additional cost if you have a previous one.

Yes, but it's not getting a release on PS4.

I didn't know that at the time, but part of the reason why I didn't get Remake on PS4 was I wanted to wait until I got a PS5 so I could play them all on one console. Didn't think about the free upgrade.

FYI I'm really looking forward to this!!!

Really enjoying every moment so far...just started Chapter 3 and already 12 hours in. Such an amazing game!

Didn't think I would be the only one playing FF7 Rebirth but here we are. This game is spectacular! So much to do, and so much intrigue as to who this is going to end up. Doing my best to see nothing on YouTube about spoilers and that’s hard because I am probably 60 hours away...which translates to many months for me.

Anyway if you loved FF7 the original, Remake then get this...you will not be disappointed
