I'm thinking buttkicker next, then VR headset some time next year.

It's so easy to get carried away once you get hooked.

To be fair lagg band works well for what it is. Allows me to race competitively with sequential and occasionally win. No missed shifts. Not the greatest action but will do until i receive my ssh

You're right, it does work pretty well - maybe not as good as the real thing but more than passable! Actually think I prefer it to using the paddles (though they'll be good if I'm feeling really lazy or playing F1), as it seems that little more involving. Makes the clutch pedal kind of redundant though.

So now I've just gone and ordered a 34" super wide monitor. What have you lot done to me?! laugh

Just need to get you signed up for a proper sim like iracing now.
It's on special at the moment $49 for the year with this code PR-49BFACTIVE2015 I'd appreciate using my referral link but no pressure (except I'll cry and feel unloved).
https://members.iracing.com/membersite/Subscriptio...

You can almost race for free at that price with up to $40 per year participation credits and $5 annual bonus.

^^ Too late fella!

My LG 34UM65 has just turned up! Unfortunately I wont be able to set that up tonight (need a new desk first, my feeble table isn't really big enough and don't really want to wall mount as it'll give me a little more flexibility to move it around), but I will be tomorrow, can't wait! biggrin

When I have it finished I'll upload some pics!

Not tried any games yet but just got my 34" LG superwide set up. Wow! I know its only a 1080P monitor still, but it just looks great, I can imagine games looking great on this, everything else does! Split screen on this is awesome and the picture is beautful. I would have preferred the Acer Predator but for ~900ish compared to < 400 for this I'm quite happy, looks very smart too. Will try some games and report back.

Now awaiting the arrival of fanatecs CSW v2 base, RSR wheel, clubsport pedals and hpat/sequential shifter.

The G25 has served me well for the many, many years of ownership, still works perfectly, but a refresh was needed.

Just spent last few min googling and trying to find out about this new sequential shifter I'd not heard of made by HPAT.

hehe

To be fair it was lazy of me, but it was late!

Actually, the shifter is something I was going to buy anyway, it looks like a really good, sturdy piece of kit. The g25's got quite a lot of "play" after all the years of enthusiastically thwapping it up and down the range as you do in the heat of battle.
