thought Virginia was free! i certainly haven't paid for it. Also i've tuned a couple of these now and i can't get them any faster than the standard tunes

Part of me wants to use the R8 to reduce the number of Z4s in the field, but it's too slow - no tune can fix it

Might have to mess around with some minor upgrades to try and make it level with the Bimmer, then talk you into letting me use it

Idle, I presume only tuning allowed is change of suspension/wing angles and gearing etc?

Yes please, no upgrades. Last time we ran this it was very close so i want to keep that if possible and only make changes to help people if needed. To be fair i have been unable to get any real extra pace out of different tunes but i have made the Vette more stable and consistence for me. I will be about tonight from 9pm for some practice and happy to share my tunes for the Vette and Merc.

Will me telling you that any 'sensible' upgrades don't make it any faster?

I'll probably hop on tonight at some point and we can see if the R8 is OK for race pace (no upgrades).

If I get a mic then I'll have to explain myself when I inevitably end up taking out Idle on the first lap
