Fable. That was actually the first 'fantasy RPG' I ever played, such a good game. Can't say I warmed to the sequels at all.

Tourist Trophy please!
Very much agree. I even tracked down a copy and bought a PS2 slim + memory card last year from CEX just to play it again. Best bike game I have ever played.

And I so want Shadow of the Colossus again. Played that on PS3 when they re-released it in HD and loved every second. Fantastic, fantastic game.

Did you try TT Superbikes?

It was the most realistic bike game on the PS2 IMO

I can't remember if the 'Strike' series of games were on PS2, I think they were. Would love to see those again.

Most of them (desert jungle etc) were on the sega mega drive. The last couple (Soviet and nuclear strike) were on the PS .

I did. Prefer the feel of Tourist Trophy and the fact that you can ride road bikes or road 'tracks' alongside actual circuits.

Apart from the Grand Theft Autos I don't remember much of note on the PS2. Gran Turismo 3/4 will be old hat now. The Final Fantasy series went downhill, and the Simpsons game mentioned in the article really wasn't that good - just a boring GTA clone with less to do.

There was a fun little old school RPG called Dragon Quest.

That's fair enough.

Have you seen RIDE on the Ps4? That looks very good, and made by Milestone, they did all of the SBK games on PS3, so are pretty good with bike games.

Apparently GTA: San Andreas I coming to the PS3 this month on the PSN Store. It will have scaled up graphics to 720p and improved draw distance. Should be fun as to me it's still the pinnacle of sandbox gaming smile

These were:
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

Not sure I want to pick up any older games, played them to death back in the day...

I'm looking for some decent multi-player (4) games, so being able to play Micro Machines (or similar) would be god!!

meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and 2. Both were amazing compared to that silliness on the PS3 version.

I've got GTA: Vice City on the PS4 now and it's a pretty straight port so I am liking it as the original is my best game of all time. Thinking about getting San Andreas as well but not so sure, would rather than one had a graphic's makeover!

dnanananananananana pizza-man!! wink

I downloaded San Andreas yesterday. Made me laugh when you save and it asks for an 8MB save device. There's only a 1TB drive in there...

Incredible that it still suffers with horrendous pop in and other issues. All adds to the nostalgia though biggrin
