Still enjoying this, just blowing things up and whizzing around with the grapple is good fun. When I first got it I looked at the map and thought, yeah looks quite big...then zoomed all the way out and realised its bloody huge!

I succumbed and have bought it for my son for Christmas (based pretty much on what you lot have said!) - I still have massive reservations so will be telling him that I reserve the right to take it away from him if I see content that I don't think he should be exposed to......

I've been playing it for a while and there's nothing really warranting it to be an 18!

Such a fun game, bases are worryingly easy to liberate but perhaps they'll get easier!

The loading screens are somewhat ruining this game for me, but that aside, it's bloody brilliant!

Did the first main mission - then flew around the first island and liberated the settlements. Honestly its all got quite boring. Wondering if I am playing it wrong - loved JC2 but JC3 seems a little flat and whilst the world is huge unlike JC2 there doesn't seem to be a huge amount to do in between the main settlements. JC2 was actually quite over whelming in terms of stuff to do and there was always a feeling of discovery - flying through the island you would stumble across bases, settlements and cool stuff. JC3 seems pretty spartan in this regard. Maybe I need to do some more missions or move onto another island?

I've only done a few missions. You can go to any island right from the start. It does get repetitive but it's fun just exploring.

For those with the loading time issues, try closing the application (on ps4, i'm sure you can do something similar on eggsbox) and then restarting.

I got stuck at a loading screen, it's hard to see but the loading indicator in the bottom right wasn't going up (around) anymore.
I had it after about 10 minutes yesterday, closed and re-opened and it didn't happen for the next hour.
Have heard about a possible memory leak causing the long loading times so you may have to restart the application every hour or so.

More beacons comes when you do one of the gear side mission things, can't remember which one but I got it last night.

More tethers (which I think you might have meant given the context of the video) comes from the "scramble" gear missions.

Okay cheers pal, I got 4 tethers last night! So much more carnage to be had!

Loving this game & am about 15% complete.

A frustration is the locator logo (beacon thing the bottom of the screen) which is constantly going off as SO many 'Cars Not Collected' which activates this beacon constantly & i keep going on wild goose chases expecting to find other discoverable items only to find i'm following a car i've not collected yet.

How do you collect these cars as am completing challenges to get the upgrades (can't recall what they're actually called), but don't seem to be collecting any of these uncollected cars yet.

Also the often crazy load times are frustrating as some load within seconds & some take minutes.

Overall a fantastic game though.

I had the same frustration - disable the gear mod that highlights cars you haven't collected and it will go away - HTH. smile

Liberating the northern area is certainly a challenge.

Getting the wingsuit and grapple hook working in harmony is so much fun. I'd forgotten cars are for driving and not just blowing up and attaching to stuff smile

Completed the main story and liberated all the towns/bases yesterday. Really enjoyed it,great fun if a bit repetitive. Still got loads of races/challenges and things to unlock so will probably keep hold of it for for a bit yet as I'm sure I will still fancy a go now and again.

Thanks, that's the perfect solution. Does this apply to boats & aircraft too? I guess once you've done that you can just summon them when required?

It's definitely worth sticking with the wing suit challenges. I just got 80 gears to unlock the wing suit boost. Now you can reel yourself in with a boost when flying along. Make things much more fun and really fast getting around now.
