Anyone Bought Rise of the Tomb Raider?

I enjoyed the first reboot as well.
I would have got this for PC/PS4 but I'll just wait now. I have STBF on PS4 and Fallout on PC to get through so no great loss.
It's TR game, should be on PS.

For what it's worth I'm 50% ish through it and I'm bloody loving it so far. I've spent entire evenings just searching places for hidden stuff.
Shame it tried to take on FO4 really.

Finished it. Really enjoyed it. No real impossible, hair tearing out bits. LOTS of scope to re visit areas and discover bits. Loads of tombs, crypts and challenges etc.
Left wide open for a sequel.

Has anyone else got horrendous input lag? I've searched online and there are loads of threads and videos on the topic but no real fix. The game is quite entertaining otherwise but the controls are killing it for me :/

Just bought it. Bugger me it looks incredible on PC. Can't wait to get back in to the swing of things - just hope the is less QTE's this time.

At 2k and 4k res, you can even count the pores on her face

It is demanding though all maxed out. I have to drop some stuff down to keep fps healthy on my sli setup at 4k and that's minus any fsaa (simply not needed at that res). 2k is fine, though.

Starting again on the PC version after completing probably 40% on xone.

You could buy this for £6 on the Windows 10 App Store if you changed your location to 'Ukraine' in settings and use Revolut to set up a virtual Credit Card to pay with. Think they may have fixed this though.

Finally caved in and bought a 970 GTX - the old 760 has about had its day and met its match in this game.

I bought it from India for £10... I feel ripped off Looks decent even on a 750Ti!

Anyway the reason I'm posting ... I'm at the bit where you have to kill the bear with the poison arrows (which I've crafted) yet no idea how to use them I can seem to 'select' them, but end up shooting normal arrows so quickly get mauled in the face

ETA okay worked it out, middle mouse button... of course this was after I turned the bear into a pin cushion with regular arrows and got batted around

I just used my Santander card with a random Indian address and the payment went through (tbh I'd rather it blocked it on the wrong address, but nvm)

Started downloading, switched back to UK location and download resumed ok

Okay sure it's only 30fps and probably doesn't have the same effects as a 970etc, but Lara still looks great and I want to jump on top of her and...well you get get the idea.

I like all the little animation touches they've added in, like her wringing out her ponytail when she gets out of the water.

Just to note - I'm still absolutely loving this game, really recommend it.
Plus Lara is a badass.
