Just to confirm, the Midlands Breakfast Club will return in 2016.

We have found a superb venue which not many people will have heard of, but is a superb place to visit and is a place that will appeal to people of all ages and has something for everyone. We have pencilled in 5 dates for 2016. The location is the British Ironworks Centre and Sculpture Park, Whitehall Farm, nr Oswestry. Many of you may not of heard of it, but trust me, it is a superb place to visit and is a superb place to hold an event. It's on the main A5 between Shrewsbury and Oswestry and is a perfect driving road on a Sunday morning.
The provisional dates planned for 2016 are:
24th April,
26th June,
21st August,
23rd October
and a big Christmas meet on the 18th December.

The format will be the same, park up, grab breakfast and a coffee and enjoy the event.
There is no issue with the amount of cars as they have plenty of overflow parking (acres upon acres), We will be able to show the cars off around the perimeter on the grassed area as long as it's not overly muddy! There is a lot to see at the centre, cafe (new restaurant opening), giant sculptures, falconry, working blacksmiths, silversmith, coppersmith, art/sculpture gallery, vintage garage, and shop. The centre is privately owned and they are looking forward to having us along and will be far more giving with help than other places I could mention! Staff will be provided on the day to assist with parking, and I might actually be able to sit down and grab a breakfast! We are also working on a few other things to make it a nice experience for everyone and plan an organisers choice 'favourite car' with prizes such as half a day with a Blacksmith. And the event will remain free and zero parking charges!!!!!!

I will try and update this post as much as possible, but please like the Facebook page to make sure you don't miss out on anything

I've missed these, great they're coming back biggrin hopefully everyone will behave themselves this time around, although the new site's layout should prevent too much tomfoolery...

Hopefully my 944 should be back on its wheels for April.

Watching this as fancy a PH meet this year, probably April one I reckon.

Seems that the venue is a little far for "Midlanders" unless its a Welsh Midlanders Meet lol

For me, it's all about the drive. Superb road to blast down on a Sunday morning.

It's no where near my doorstep, but it's in Shropshire which is still in the Midlands!

Lovely idea, but as above it's hardly "Midlands" - on the border with Wales and closer to Chester than Birmingham.

I really wish I'd made it to one of the Cosford meets, but even that was an hour-plus schlep up a motorway...

given that's there's already a meet at Shelsey Walsh, it wouldn't benefit this meet having it over 'that way'.
These meets compliment them and they are dated 2 weeks apart throughout the year and gives people this side of the 'Midlands', a chance to come to one close to them.

I run it on my own, no charge, no profit, and to be honest, it's no where near where I live, but the venue is superb and given the hassle it is to run any event (hence why I packed in the Cosford meets) and now Shelsey Walsh or pre book ticket only, it's actually refreshing to have a place who are willing to help out and allow the event to run freely.

It's only taken 3 years to find a suitable alternative, and I utmost apologise to everyone who has to drive a little further to attend a 'car' meet!

Hi Coxy.....
Did the meets get off the ground?
If the October one is still on I'll dust off the R5!
