I am in a similar boat to OP, but yet to actually pull the trigger.

Machine is an i% 4690k, 28gb ram, but an older R7980 AMD card, so thats the poor bit of it.

Traded in my Xbox 1 at the weekend, as never use itso after we get our house (hopefully have 20% deposit by Novemeber biggrin

Plan then is to add in an Nvidia GTX 980Ti 6Gb, new case and a G-Sync 27" 2k momitor to run at 1440p at 144Hz.

Its about £1300 just now, but that should run anything i throw at it, mainly The Division is what we are looking at.

However Witcher 3 in 4K will be lovely.

I'd say:

GTA5
Witcher 3
Borderlands 2
Far Cry 4

Assetto Corsa

Portal 2

Nice spec. I couldn't justify the expense of a 4k monitor. I'll wait until they drop in price in a couple of years first.

Its not really 4K, 1440 is just where gaming sems to be going, eyed a lovely 32" widescreen Gsync 100hz monitor £1k though!

Get Rise of the Tomb Raider, that'll take your computer around the back and give it a good shoeeing.
Plus it's a decent game.
