Games that deserve a remake ?

Test Drive Unlimited but with a slightly sharper physics engine (though it was okay IMO) but mainly... SMOOTH ROADS. The engine couldn't cope and ended up with jagged rises which made things a bit sketchy.
Test drive unlimited 2 sorted the roads issue but unfortunately they allowed a window licker to design the car physics and completely ruined it. I put about 400 hours in to TDU1 on the 360 and TDU2 probably got about 5. Major disappointment.

Also, there was a strategic Star Wars campaign game where you could play as rebels or empire - that was pretty good too...
Star Wars Supremacy (rebellion outside the UK)? I'll second that. Didn't get good reviews but was the best star wars strategy game.Edited by happygoron on Tuesday 7th June 00:17

Also it would be nice if they could put in a proper sandbox, rather than "here's the last of the money, hope you're good in the casino?", that really sucked.Test drive unlimited 2 sorted the roads issue but unfortunately they allowed a window licker to design the car physics and completely ruined it. Very happy they've announced a proper Resident Evil 2 remake, since the HD version of the original was fantastic, expanding the game and adding a few gameplay changes that notched up the tension. I'd love a remake of Duke Nukem 3D (Forever wasn't as bad as a lot of people say, but certainly no classic), Destruction Derby, the original Command and Conquer before it went all sci-fi, and Rogue Squadron
Surely X-wing v Tie fighter on PC has to be up there?
That game was awesome.
Gunship (seconded)
M1 Tank Platoon
Wing Commander
Mechwarrior (seconded)
Rainbow Six
C&C Generals
Operation Flashpoint
and Finally
Total Annihilation
If i go any longer I'll seep into, they don't make em like thy used to blah blah...
