Road Rash
When I worked at EA around 8 years ago, there was a reboot of Road Rash in development using the Burnout engine. It got canned.Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 - Nemesis. They released an updated graphics version of Resident Evil 1 for the Game Cube about 14 years ago that was absolutely amazing for its time though may look dated by now. Would be fantastic to see these two classic games updated.
Also a sequel to Command & Conquer Generals.

Carmageddon and destruction derby. They would be amazing with today's in game physics and graphics.

DungeonKeeper 2 was brilliant, back in 1999. I want remakes of both 1 and 2.
Not a remake but a sequel. War For The Overworld (2015) http://store.steampowered.com/app/230190/Andrew Braybrook said recently that he wants to get back into writing games, so a new version of Paradroid may happen. I think it would make an ideal mobile game, which is where the money seems to be.

However no mention of the game I still break out the old XP laptop for every so often:
Stars!
I have a game called Command: Modern Air / Naval Operations, which is the Jane's games in all but name, and likely considerably more complex. Very much a game of ordering NATO standard icons around a map - imagination required! Sooooo much detail. Still needs work to be a good game IMO, eg it's trying to be operation level but requires the player to set up individual bombing runs. The Professional Edition is starting to get some good enhancements though.
- Cannon fodder
- X-wing/Tie fighter
- Railroad Tycoon
- Syndicate (the newer X-Com games are similar, but no persuadertron)
