The article is a bit st, but there are many rumours that this is coming. I'm just hoping that there is a way to get it without buying the new stinking game, and also that they don't add too many perks.

My opinion, of course.

But, why do people keep spending money on COD games? They are regurgitated st.

I agree. Its the same year in year out. If I cant purchase the original modern warfare by itself then I won't be buying it. I'm not being forced into paying through the nose for the new Cod when I don't want it.

CoD4 was a brilliant game, so simple compared to the newer CoD games and so much better for it. It was who played the game better rather than the daft perks (I played a lot of competitive CoD4 with a mod that prevented the use of most perks) and I'd love to play a game like that again. I've been off the PC for quite a while now and only have time for a little PS4 FIFA from time to time, so I'd really struggle with CoD (I can't play shooters on consoles, I am terrible with the sticks for basically anything but football and driving games), so as well as having to buy the main CoD game to get CoD4, I'd have to buy a new gaming PC.

This is looking more and more legit as the days go by. more and more leaked photos.

I hope they sell it alongside the main game as a standalone, but I am not above buying the new game solely for this and trading infinite warfare in.

The rumours about Infinite Warfare are gathering pace. Sadly, it sounds like it could be even more future-war nonsense. I won't bother buying it if it is, the first time I've missed a COD release since COD3.

I havent been intrested in the series since Black Ops 1.

After that they all went downhill. I wont be buying this one for that future walljumping ste they churn out. It will only be for MW remastered, I was 13/14 when I first played that game on the 360, I still maintain it is the best game I have ever played, campaign and multiplayer. I had over 40 days play time on it.

I am bursting with excitment that I maybe coming to Next Gen as I dont have a 360 anymore.

When there is Battlefield why do people buy CoD? Battlefield now suffers as it panders to CoDers

Different pacing... different play style. Put a lot of time into COD4MW and MW2 (less into BLops, and feck all into any of the others really). Also put a lot of time into BF3. Played BF4 once and decided it was ste.

I've been waiting for an MW remaster for a long time now. Pretty much since MW3 was a turd. A shame that it looks to be locked into some stupid "legacy" money spinner and doesn't have all the maps.

I just caught wind of this to and am quite excited about it. They'd better not fk it up or I will never buy another COD again. I've got all of them I think (even the early ones on the PS1). I don't want anymore of that halo jumping super mashup setups ste. I can only play the new ones for a bit before going back to GTA. Just quick fire action straight into battle COD was always best for. Such a good feeling running in a room shooting dead several enemies and surviving. Remember shipment? Pretty much certain a 100 kills game, sit in the corner with the RPD.

Polarbert and I spent many hours as a hit squad in COD4, often to the early hours. When we had the full team it was even better, or even at its height we had an entire lobby of PH'ers.

I don't care how much it costs or that it'll be the same play wise and maps wise. It'll look much better on my bad ass gaming PC and I really would like it again.

ETA: there's no way they'll sell this on its own. You'll have to buy the job lot.

Dave! Long time no speak. Hope the family's well.

If this is any good on the PC I'll get an Xbox one and get it for that to.

I want this so badly, but I'm still not being forced into buying Infinite Warfare. I'll be playing Battlefield 5 I'd imagine on my Xbox One.

I remember the good old days. It seemed so much more simple than it is now and meant you could focus more on enjoying the games than having to think about what perks you needed to equip. The best thing about perks was getting them in Zombies on black ops. And thats it.

I used to play MW a lot, Remember being on with you guys a few times and spend a lot of time with Curry Burns (Who I met a couple weeks ago oddly enough!), Carl, Silverbullet etc.

Going back a few years now! How time flies.

I've moved on from both. '4' seems to be a successful number for both franchises but that's where it pretty much ended for me.

I'm now only interested in Arma for shooters now. Hook up with a good set up and you will be doing 60-70 strong assaults. It's extremely impressive when it all links up.

Hey mate. All good thanks. I remember when you got ps3 so you could play it on that and the xbox.

Old habits die hard, eh? hehe
