Nothing seems like about it, quick-scoping IS cheating as far as I am concerned as it's clearly exploiting a bug. I called someone out on it on a game the other day who used it to go 24-3 on a game. They tried to deny all knowledge but the last kill slo-mo kill cam clearly showed them doing it, what's worse is the shot was nowhere near on target but due to the QS bug it still registers a hit.

Tbh it's one of my major bugbears with MW, I know it was in the original game too but you'd really think they'd have made an effort to fix what is a game breaking bug.
It's hardly game breaking.

To be honest its what kept me playing an otherwise quite dull game.

I think your mistake is thinking that Quickscopers gain an unfair advantage, which isnt the case, Any quickscoper you meet will be able to do just aswell with an M16/AK/MP5 Etc as with a sniper, they are good because they are good not because they quick scope, i'm sorry to tell you.

Infact I would go as to as say that we actually do worse with snipers than other AR's and SMG's. Its much easier to do well with those.

Sorry Just re read this, there is no bug, I assume you are referring to "drag scope" shots.

It isnt a bug, you can miss a drag shot. I know its looks buggy, but trust me, it isnt, its built into the game engine, you can do the exact same thing with AR's SMG's etc with the crappy ACOG.

Give it a go yourself and you will see, you will fail miserably for the first few days, but you eventually learn how far to drag.

Yes I realise it takes a bit of skill to master the timing etc but once you've got it down pat, the ability to be able one-shot someone, even at close range, in half a second without aiming properly sounds like a bug to me.

The fact you can do it with AR's, SMG's etc doesn't mean it's acceptable, it just means the auto-aim programming is broken for all of them. Pretty easy to fix, just put in line of code that says if you press the scope in\look down sights button on any gun, turn the auto aim assist off.

Drag shots are part of basically every game that has some form of auto aim. It's not a bug and it's never going away, especially in a remastered game that was famous for people taking advantage of it for ridiculous shots.

Does anyone have any information or know if Activision will release Remastered as a separate game eventually?

I'm not buying Infinite Warfare just to be able to play it...

Damn I have Xbox One...

I think with the Xbox they did it so that its actually on the disc itself for Infinite if I'm correct which is a shame.

Not even sure why auto aim is even a thing tbh, you don't really have it on PC's. The excuse that controllers are harder to aim with than a mouse so need some assistance is a poor excuse. It's meant to be a game of skill, not sure why on consoles it's deemed necessary to give people a helping hand with one of the most important skills in the game.

Makes it more accessible, easier for a general audience. Some games let you turn it off others don't. Each game has varying degrees and different implementations, meaning some are harder than others.

You'll never aim as well with an analogue stick as you can a mouth.

You can turn it off individually, not for everybody so that's no use as Quick scopers will still use it to gain an advantage. Give an option so that you only connect to servers with it turned off completely or have it turned off in hardcore mode, level the playing field completely for those who want it and the problem of analogue sticks goes away as everyone is in the same boat and it's purely down to skill. The noobs and qs'ers can then all auto-aim to their hearts content, separate the men from the boys. I hate the dumbing down of games on consoles for this reason, often pandering to the lowest common denominator.

Every time you prestige you get to take sometimhing with you like the later CODs and it opens up another class to fill. I'm with you though I'm not prestiging either.

I've just started working on the ACOG kills. I agree, it's completely rubbish. Too much sway at long range, view too restricted at short range.

For anyone grinding the ACOG kills, changing the reticle makes a huge difference.

Whilst I've got the game to run nicely on the PC no one plays it. To the point that the few who do we're now all familiar with each other as you see the same names often. Also there's only people on s&d, team deathmatch and domination, sometimes there's a gun game to be had.

So I'm going to buy an Xbox one and get on it but before I do can someone confirm people actually play it on the Xbox for me. As in, you can get a battle in most game modes at any time of the day. Thanks in advance.

Never had an issue with getting a game on Xbox One, always loads of players... Usually play Hardcore Kill Confirmed or Hardcore S&D.
