Your link was dead but it is on there if you do a search!

Hope there's one for XB1 soon.

Yeah until this is a standalone and under 30 quid I'll stick to BF1.

Was watching a stream of this earlier. Exact same game with ever so slightly improved graphics (at least on Xbox).

I adored the original game but really don't think I'll bother with this.
Err that's the whole point isn't it. The multiplayer gameplay is still unbeaten by any subsequent CoD game IMO.

I am odd in that the most played game (to this day) for me is Ghosts which is generally considered to be one of the poorer ones. I love the maps, the fact you can use tactics and it's none futuristic simplicity. I loved MW, MW1, 2 and 3 and the original BO. BO2 is where it failed big time and the direction it took was not for me. My son loves all the COD series so I'll be getting him the latest but I'll be the one playing remastered MW2. One of the best COD games, no jumping suits, sci-fi guns or wall ruining. The fact I can get back into this game again with the better graphics and onthe PS4 really appeals to me.

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered does not contain all multiplayer maps from original Modern Warfare game. See www.callofduty.com/MWR_FAQ for more information.
So they wan't £32 for a rehashed game and then don't include all the maps.
Are they never satisfied?

The rest of the maps including the oroginal DLC maps are set to be phased in next month I think.

Wetwork missing from the start is a shame, one of my favourites.

You still need infinite warfare though? I mean you still can't just buy modern warfare remastered on its own.

From the call of duty link above.

10. Can I play Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered without buying Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare?

No, you must own Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered.

People on HotUKDeals are saying it works without infinite warfare. But it's the chance you take I suppose.

That was the original report, but it does contain all of them. The first 10 on release, the other 6 in December for some reason.

Edit: Which is also stated in the original link to the CoD website itself.

No you're spot on. I'm not sure what I was expecting really.

Maybe nostalgia was just better than reality, I dunno.

I'll be sticking to CS and BF1 but I hope some people get enjoyment out of it. Now if Promod gets involved I may reconsider!

I am currently waiting for MW1 to download its a big old file. I have brought the Infinate Warfare mainly for MW as since it went double jump and jet packs Iv not enjoyed them (I have Destiny for that). MW2 was the best for me but ill quite happily settle for MW1. I probably will give the new one a try to see whats its like online and I have also heard the story mode is half decent.

Im waiting for the stats to come out to see how many people are playing IW and how many are playing MW. Everybody I know who plays COD and I mean everybody I know is playing MW1.

I can also see whats going to happen here from Activision if this is a success. The next COD will come with World at War and the one after MW2. It will be interesting to see if they lose money from nobody buying the DLC for the new game.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this for a few hours last night (after the massive 50gb download!)

Things of note, its not all perfect, but it mostly is:

Constant UAV
Constant Heli's
Grenades everywhere
You cant move on shipment
M16 is a god weapon

Yet it all feels so right, the game and gunplay just feels nice. Its good to be back.

Bought this for my son on the Xbone...have the disc however it's insisting on downloading the whole file - well 2 of them as I've also got the remastered COD4. File is still downloading...despite having the disc! Have I pressed the wrong button? Anyone else experiencing the problem??

Enjoying it so far, agree with earlier poster about constant UAV's and Helicopters though.

Hate all the futuristic stuff on the new COD's so this is a welcome change.

So just like it used to be then! COD4 is still the only game where I could consistently get a grenade kill in the first 10 seconds of a game.
