I guess I paid ~£50 for BF4 inc Premium access, but ive put 272 hours in online (not inc the offline campaign) so that's 18p and hour. I can live with that.
As for Battlefield 1... i'll reserve judgement until I see real in-game footage and reports, but cant say im that excited. I didn't want a futuristic one (never got into 2142) and think the WW1 theme could get tiresome quickly. I didn't want any sort of "theme" really - just every few years a new Battlefield based on current REAL weapons and believable and varied environments around the world. I don't think that's asking for the moon on a stick...

So basically what you were hoping for is the same games as before? I think a lot of people are very happy that the timeline has changed and moved away from generic warfare in desert that is totally not the middle east.
