While we're on the topic of lag...seven seconds I counted earlier of totally losing control of the fighter plane. Didn't respond to any input, eventually sank into the ground and I died.

Really needs sorting.

Been fortunate to only have a handful of noticeable lag issues. What I really want fixed is the spawns. Too often drops me in a storm of bullets.

Other than that it's going well for me.

As long as it's spawning me right behind someone to use my hatchet I'm all for it, but alas it's usually the opposite.

Tonight on PC everyone was back to level 0, though I managed to get top of the board and scored in the teens several games having changed up my assault load out. There's a decent video on youtube by jackfrags about loadouts that has some good advice.

I once experienced something like that.

I was in a helicopter, on Damavand Peak, with a full squad sat in the back...

finally level 10'd the scout class last night to have them all done. Now gone back to medic/sweeper in semi auto mode & horseback again to get the points up. had a quick trial of that Kolibri(sp?) pistol and i think it's just in as a joke.

On another note, anyone got that desert gold skin yet for the heavy tank? Still seeing posts crop up the BF forums saying it's missing from the loot table?

I was going to ask on here about that one - I haven't seen one in use or heard of anyone getting it. I did read lots of complaints where people had bought ~50 battlepacks over Christmas (who does that?) and not received it and had friends who had done similar with no joy.

1) Only a noob blames lag for his crap piloting skills.

2) You aren't allowed to take the piss out of yourself, only those who were there (and fell to their doom burning in a fiery death) can do that.

wink

Now lets not fall into hyperbole Guv, there was no fiery death - everyone died from the impact not the explosion!

Your second point would remove about 3/4 of those who've taken the piss - a bit like rare 60s racing cars, that chopper seems to now have had a capacity for a full team, not a squad!

That chopper does seem to have had Tardis like qualities. I can definitely say "I was there man, I was there" though, to this day I still suffer from slight PTSD whenever I approach an aircraft. biggrin

I have given up spawning on people in planes unless I plan on jumping out straight away or it's someone I can shout at later for crashing! smile

However I would never get in a plane with sway just incase! I was witness to "the incident" however I have heard enough about it! smile

Arg! Operations... so frustrating. Was half enjoying it and half raging that 1/3rd of my defending team were snipers, the bulk of whom started and stayed right at the bottom of the scoreboard with terrible k/d ratios never mind scores for participating.

I think the 'scout' as a class needs a rethink and have specific snipers as a more limited resource.

On the plus side, seems I can play Operations without the infernal nvidia crashes that plague the game.

Battlefield games have suffered from this issue since time immemorial.

Classic. Top of the leader board on the left and we won. You wouldn't think so looking at the scores in the other team. Just proves play as a squad and go for the objectives. Admirably the losers will be ranking up faster.

Surprised to see so many deaths for everyone. Usually 1 person cleans up in a heavy tank on Amiens because its so easy!
