Getting one this weekend I think. Are you missing my sexy voice? Haha I thought I would give everyone a little break from my near Havoc level of raging.

I have been joining up with the yanks recently though and have to agree with you lemmings that the games play MUCH better! Bullets feel like they are going where you aim and seem to get lucky (as in one on ones) a lot more! Switched back you EU servers and struggled with hit reg / detection and getting shot around corners etc.
Mate you've surpassed me at times.

last night was shocking on either that West Coast USA server (to be expected) but even the Irish servers struggled. I dont know if its due to me moving the wifi box into a more central location in the house but is effectively directly above the ps4 now or what but twice i turned it off in disgust last night. Not done that in ages

is furball on here?

Furball is on here...

Chunts, agreed. I've had no issues recently, even when first joining landshark and the yanks I picked up the tank hunter for the first time and was dropping running players at some range, so lag can't be that bad. You do get the odd player for whom there's an indestructible element, yet it always seems 'personal' in that it only effects me and that opponent. Suppose there's players out there going "who's this sway bd, take a hit!" in the same way I sometimes am.

Speaking of which, when playing against havoc last night there were a couple of bullet sponge moments. Cheating bar steward he is...

It wasnt a crash, it was a glitch in the matrix..

I think it was a 'cry for help'.

Then again that was no half-hearted suicide attempt!

Didn't know that quick match sometimes drops you into lightly customised servers. Ended up in a server with mortars disabled, which makes operations painful as pockets of enemies clump together to provide a constant wall/flurry of grenades and gun fire.

Very frustrating when the very thing you need to progress is removed....

Directly above is a bit of black spot for wifi.

Or an extreme way to increase your K/D ratio...

If you are within 5m of the router then use a f'ing cable! In fact I would rather run a 20m cable than trust wifi! Too much stuff can interrupt it. At least with copper you only need to keep it away from power (and cat6 can handle that ok).

I have been playing Operations for a few days and have only managed to join the Attacking team once in perhaps 12 matches.

Is there a trick to choosing sides or is it random?

Anywhere there's several sources of WiFi or other EMI I use shielded CAT6. More expensive to buy but is a pretty solid alternative to isolating all power and emitters from the cable path

Game can fk right off. Laggy, buggy pile of st. Sick of shooting people point blank range and missing as they moonwalk across the screen. On top of that rifles are so underpowered it's complete pot luck. So pissed off because I want to love the game.

Randomish afaik, maybe people switch more to one side as they think it's easier?

Its still got that "Metro" type gameplay feel where its just frantic kill, die, kill, die.
You cant push forwards with confidence as the bloody game spawns the enemy behind you, so any sort of sneaking around or find cover is wasted. Other than finding those spots that allow you to melt into the surroundings...

Another gripe, and perhaps this is just me, I just cannot bloody well see the enemy, even when they are in front of me. What appears to be a clear area turns out to have a handful of the opposing team standing in front of you, but not visible until youre dead. Spotting does fk all, nor does it highlight the player even when you do spot in most occasions. I had a case in the forest round, spotted the area in front, was clear, then shot by a bloke laying down where Id just searched.

As Ruskie said, Im trying to like the game. Its just too much removed from the way BF4 worked.

Especially like to know how they managed to go from a loading time of around 30 seconds with BF4 to one of anything up to and over 3 or 4 minutes. If I have time to go on, I dont want to bloody well wait.

Why would this help mate? I have similar thing happen to me. I think it's more spawning issues rather than the display not showing the player.
