I have a 6ms screen, so when you factor in network latency that corresponds to about mid twenty ms at the most. Input + Network Lag. Makes no difference to getting murdered on spawn or the spawning on dead bodies or the server not showing someone until a kill cam.

How do I find out about screen latency? Looking at the LG OLED but if it makes life worse then I may wait for more players to come into the market.

Current TV is showing it's age, but not replacing it with anything but OLED.

It should state it in the technical specs. Anything below 25 is considered good. Most of the TVs do this but cutting post processing so it might look stter

I'm pretty much done with multi-player unless I get some medals to work towards or until new maps are out. This week is the second week in a row that I've only got 1 unlocked medal to have a go at. frown

On the plus side though I'm working towards "platinuming" the game, which basically means doing everything possible in the single player campaign. It's been quite fun so far the final mission (Nothing is Written) is particularly good.smile

Problem I have with fully completing it, is the collect all codex achievement. Two of them are stupid, one requires level 10 pilot, and then jump out of the plane and get 10 kills with a pistol unlocked at level 10. The second is level 10 tanker, and then 10 kills with the shotgun again unlocked at level 10.

So spend ages grinding as a pilot or tanker (if you can get in one) and then once your level 10, get one and abandon it to get kills....

buy a gaming monitor, the Benq has a feature that brightens up the dark corners so you know when you think your invisible due to being in a dark corner (and im not talking about ginger looking within himself), the screen brightens its up and your visible

You only need to get the campaign codices for the trophy, don't you?

Id you have to get all the codices in the game, then I'm not sure I'm up for that!

Have a look on hdtvtest.co.uk, they used to be quite good for latency tests and stuff. They may have tested the model you're looking at.

I have heard about these. In fact some of the high end gaming monitors come with their own GPU and the PC GPU will offload some of the processing to the monitor. Pretty cleaver.

would be interesting to see if one of these monitors made a difference.

WTF have they done? Took ages to get into a game tonight - used to be fast and smooth.

And played a round of operations where they had the airship at the first objectives, but we had no planes, no AA weapons at all. The fecking thing just sat there and we couldn't do a thing about it (they still lost the first round, but it took ages)

Ballroom blitz? Theres a HMG you can get to as a defender at where "B" is on the next set. HMG does considerable damage (and you get more points than an AA gun) that can see the blimp most of the time. Blimp doesn't expect to be hit and you end up taking it down.

Had several games where the attackers fail to take the first trenches, generally means you wont get onto the second map.

The medals are random for everyone arent they? Or are they shared? If so, K bullet kills = FML.. The hardest part by far.

How? They're a one hit kill anywhere on the body, aren't they? All you have to do is snipe an enemy and hit them somewhere?! confused

Ive just received a Benq 24" one that ill solely use for the ps4, if im playing tonight join chat and ill tell you. Im coming from a 26" Sammy tv, refresh i think is 5 m/s and the Benq has 1 m/s plus it brightens up the dark zones.

Another think ive noted is that on amiens, sometimes the enemy appears white as in they stick out like a sore thumb. Not sure what causes it

Yes it was.

At the second bases it is fine as you get a plane, I have the "anti blimp" option so took it out in a minute. BUT the rounds before that were stupid, they didn't attack and we couldn't kill them as we were just getting shot by the poxy blimp - it took ages.

Not people, you need "vehicle destroyed" kills. 3 of them to be specific.

Getting them is hard with only 5 rounds, and you need to be the finishing blow from a vehicle disabled perspective. Generally they are destroyed outright when fighting other tanks as they take off 20% or so damage per shot, instead of the 1-7 by a k bullet.

What I'm trying to say, is on the first defend the trenches part, you can run far enough back and still be in the "valid" game area to get to the statue where "B" is on the next bit. There's a HMG there that can shoot down the blimp whilst its focusing on killing people in the trenches.

If only it were that simple! Its vehicle kills, not infantry kills.
So you will need to stay out of trouble, watch an enemy vehicle get battered down to a very low health level, and then hope that your K-bullet gets the final kill. You'll also want to shoot it almost at point blank range to maximise your chances. Expect to die. A lot.

Its a pig... i got one kill on a tank as above. The second was a plane that just happened to crash in front of me and must have been on 1% health left. The final kill i cheated, as time was running out - pre-arranged a place on the map to meet my mate with him on a motorbike. Took 2 or 3 point-blank hits to destroy the bike/kill him and get the achievement. Well, after that you still need to get another 20 normal kills or something...
