If only it were that simple! Its vehicle kills, not infantry kills.
So you will need to stay out of trouble, watch an enemy vehicle get battered down to a very low health level, and then hope that your K-bullet gets the final kill. You'll also want to shoot it almost at point blank range to maximise your chances. Expect to die. A lot.

Its a pig... i got one kill on a tank as above. The second was a plane that just happened to crash in front of me and must have been on 1% health left. The final kill i cheated, as time was running out - pre-arranged a place on the map to meet my mate with him on a motorbike. Took 2 or 3 point-blank hits to destroy the bike/kill him and get the achievement. Well, after that you still need to get another 20 normal kills or something...
Ok, now I understand!

I'm a bit of a collector myself (had all the BF3 and BF4 ribbons, medals and assignments). Here's a couple of methods I'd try:

1) whenever possible, spawn as a scout into the gunner/passenger seat in a tank that is engaging another tank. Jump out during the engagement and try to get the finishing shot with your K bullet.

2) Play Rush specifically, play on the defensive team (switch teams if necessary), spawn as a scout and man the field guns to take away most of the tank's health. Count the shots it takes to kill a tank if you can't see it directly when you target the tank. It's usually 4 I think? Finish off the tank with your K bullets.

When no tanks are about, watch active enemy and friendly areas to see if any support players are killed. As soon as one is killed in a safish area, runover, pick up their kit, retreat to a safe sniping area and drop their support crate. Then run back to where you picked up their kit and re-pick up your scout kit and return to your sniping spot. You now have unlimited K-bullets, resupplied by yourself.

Also, equip smoke grenades and as soon as you see a tank, spot it and then throw a smoke grenade between you and it. You can now see the tank's icon through the smoke and hit it, but it shouldn't be able to see you. Spotting flares may also work here with the smokescreen.

Things like that are why 90% of my AT rocket kills are not against tank, bringing down buildings just feels more satisfying.

What I'm trying to say, is on the first defend the trenches part, you can run far enough back and still be in the "valid" game area to get to the statue where "B" is on the next bit. There's a HMG there that can shoot down the blimp whilst its focusing on killing people in the trenches.
Ahhhhh, I couldn't find anything in the area. Next time!

Totally agree with both of you on this! The AT rocket gun can feel op sometimes when used against infantry! smile

Also there is something very satisfying about killing a tank with a limpet. It just fells like you have worked for it. A bit like C4 in BF4! smile

The medals are random for everyone arent they? Or are they shared? If so, K bullet kills = FML.. The hardest part by far.
So my medals for this week (Xbox One)

1. Avian Cross (War Pidgeons)
2. Legion of the Wolf (Squad related)
3. Legion of the Skull (Team Deathmatch)
4. St Sebastian's Order (Revolvers)
5. Order of the Falcon (Scout)

* 20 kills as Scout, 10 Scout kills, 3 vehicle kills with K bullets, 10 headshots, 5 kills in a life)

Anyone got any ideas on how to get 10 shotgun headshots?

I've wracked up 40 kills in a couple of games so far, but not one of them is a headshot - am really struggling to be precise in the time you have in 1 on 1 close up encounters. frown

I'm thinking I need to find a game where I can ambush some snipers - any suggestions?

Use the 10A Slug rather than the hunter. Its more of a projectile weapon. Useless up close but better at range when you can accurately aim for the head......perhaps.

I think the problem is that any 'shot' hitting the body precludes recognition as a head shot. So either aim above so the bulk of the spread goes high, or if slugs are available use them.

Good maps for sniper hunting seem to be the desert ones, and the new one with the crashed airship.

I always though Argonne Forest is shotgun heaven. Along with War Pigeons and Team Deathmatch. Anything close quarters is time for a shotgun. And as said, aim for the head.

Usually the enemy once has been hit will probably go prone to avoid the 2nd shot and then its usually and easy headshot.

Good call on the slug cartridge rather than the buckshot - hadn't thought of that! smile

It's a shotgun - I don't need a second shot. wink

I got that one by stopping aiming for the head, just spray and pray and the seemingly random hit detection gets there eventually. Like most of these medals the underlying bugs / features make life very tricky.

I've posted it before but this was me chasing the shotgun headshots medal:

The slug 10-A is working well, in the sense that it's like a short range sniper rifle. It's a pig to handle at close range though and makes getting headshots on moving targets or winning straight up 1 on 1s all but impossible.

Still, I've managed to find 9 volunteers for a headshot so far, including one guy who happily kept setting up his mortar!

The EA servers seem to be having some issues today.
