Don't know what you're all moaning about, just take some c4 and a tank.

I guess we won't be seeing any heatseeking missiles in this one though so I wonder what the anti-air will be like? Also no choppers so how relevant are the bi-planes going to be to the ground war?
I expect the aircraft will not be that strong and won't be able to cause as much damage in return. They look like aerial machine gun platforms really. The planes had good speed to them were very maneuverable from what I could see and also had rockets that fired (took down the big Bertha train quite quickly), was mentioned in commentary that theres also heavy bombers too.
This is not a true world war 1 sim from what I viewed.

I can still hear the noise now...
PTSD from a video game I generally only played on 32/48 player servers too, Caspian Border conquest 64-player was just horrific. You'd see jet/heli pilots finishing a round with 200+ kills
I likened it to hosing an ants nest with a kettle of boiling water.
I'd hate to delve into the psyche of someone who actually enjoyed being on the end of that...

I saw you popped on, I came off when Metro came up (cant stand that map).I've been playing hardcore with an M98b, straight pull and x4 scope, 1 shot kills everywhere Its my fave setup at the moment, I could get way more kills with the AK5C, but I am really liking the 1 shot kill death machine.

Most of the time now I play to counter the other team playing the objective rather than playing to our teams needs unless we are getting destroyed.
I'm already feeling drawn to the "Sentry"

the Sentry, who is strapped with thick armor plating. The Sentry moves like a human tank, equipped with a water-cooled machine gun at his hip. He can shower enemy positions with lead while still being able to withstand a lot of damage

Battlefield pickup isn't it?
Seems they're bringing over the trick from battlefront of special characters/vehicles you pick up from (typically) bullet magnet areas...
Hardline did this with the launchers as well, among other thingsSeems they're bringing over the trick from battlefront of special characters/vehicles you pick up from (typically) bullet magnet areas...

This seems to be an extension of that youngy - rather than 'just' a weapon it's a whole loadout/class that you temporarily aquire...
On that note, I think classes are in danger of getting too bloody complicated. We already know there are three core infantry classes, so far, so normal. Then there are 'vehicle' classes, whereby if you spawn in a vehicle (or even if you jump into a vehicle on the Battlefield?) you swap class until you die.
Then there are the three (? Going off the Jackfrags YouTube video) pick up classes.
Just managing load outs will take up half the game!

Not sure I'm really feeling the "pick-up" classes to be honest. I didn't really like them in SW Battlefront as they introduce an element of randomness that I don't really like. Pick ups are also a very video-gamey trope that take you out of the experience and the fact this is set in WW1 will just make that worse. BF doesn't really need these gimmicks IMO.
I really hope they don't turn this into another gimmicky game to try to draw in casuals\non-gamers.
