You had to sign up as an "Insider" on the EA website by August 22nd.

If you did, you will have had another email asking you to confirm which platform you want to play on.

If it's a pick-up I agree, I'd rather it was a slow and immobile full-time soldier that isn't much use other than as a tank, I guess we'll just have to hope they implement it properly so as not to spoil things.

Considering there are actual tanks in the game, I doubt one armoured infantry guy is going to dominate?

I think I'll pre-order this. I've been playing a lot of BF4 recently and really enjoying it again. Not enjoying the fact that I've not completed a single game tonight due to being kicked/banned from every single one of them

I noticed that some sort of beta starts this week so might give that a go first.
