Quick question with unlocking stuff. I'm rank 8, I go to select a new weapon that's unlocked at rank 2/3 and says I don't have the required rank to unlock this weapon. Is this a glitch or have I completely missed something?

In one way theyve improved joining with mates, via chat it asks if you want to join. Otherwise its back out to the PS4's players online and join from there if you can.

Oh, and yes, I am daft enough to walk into traps and take tanks on on my own!

we all bhed about how we didnt like bf4 beta, how much better bf3 was etc then we got into a groove and enjoyed it. This will be the same. The BF3 beta was just Metro rush and look what happened there

Always played stock layout on bf games. Only thing i change is the flight to be inverted. Will test it again later. I'm pretty sure i remember back from the TGC BF forums back in the day that they put a delay in getting to standing from prone to counter the "dolphin diving" from bf2/2142.

I miss BF3. Not convinced about BF1, but the BF3 servers were pretty much dead when I switched to 4 and I daresay this'll go the same way.

It feels more Battlefront than than I would like. I will be buying it and see how it pans out.

R3 for prone wasn't the default in BF4. I switched mine to prone as I was fed up with pressing R3 by mistake and getting counter-knifed.

Had a couple of games, just pre-ordered the standard edition for PS4.

My only worry is that I can buy the season pass for £40 but it's saying that requires another pack first. This was the thing that put me off Star Wars Battlefront because the add on stuff cost more than the game and the original game was so small it got boring really quickly.

Can't even get a game, when actually being able to connect to the EA servers, matchmaking fails, and when I look at their server list for Europe and USA it lists just 1 server which actually has players on it, all other servers are empty and the one which is populated has 82 people in the que.

I know it is a Beta but this is basic st to get right for an experienced MP game maker.

It's just battlefront in a pretty dress. I am disappoint. Will keep the preorder just because the clan will inevitably move to it.
Played BF4 after a match of BF1... Found it much better to play as it didn't feel 'on rails' and was much more varied.

To be fair I got the same on BF4 quite often. I think they are using the same servers for all the BF games so now they are overloaded as normal. I gave up at 9pm tonight because of failing to get into a game with some error or another. BF4 often has a fit and tells me I'm offline when I'm clearly not, pressing the go online button does nothing.

I think EA calculate they need server capacity for 1 million players at a time so they purchase half that and go back to the vault to count the money from all the DLC.

There were 4 servers on out of about 40 listed, tried BF4 but alas that was down as well. So bad I got Poject Cars out for the first time in 12 months...

try running to A base from B without getting sniped is just impossible.

Id say 90%of my deaths are from snipers sitting on the outskirts. yes that's how sniping works but thats not how you PTFO!!!
