Spent some time with the standard assault gun last night, because I hated it. But after a couple of games I got into the flow with it. Stick to 2-3 round bursts and aim cafefully, and it's not half bad. Blaze away and it's useless. Ended up on 27-17 with it, after the first game was 8 and 15 or something equally dire.
Also experimenting with using gas and incendiary grenades vs vehicles. I'm preferring the incendiary generally, it took an armoured car down to very little health very quickly. But we had some good results keeping a landship away from a flag zone by bombarding the area with gas as well. No damage but kept it away.

spent an hour or so yesterday picking up the heavy machine gun kit from F then jumping on a horse to swipe some enemies down with the sword. Funny watching other players follow you to wonder how you have Gucci armour on.
changed the loadout on the heavy tank as well and seems much more punchy with direct hits but next to no splash damage.

If you enjoy Battlefield and you have friends on it then why not! It is only a Beta though. I wont pre-order but will wait till near release to decide, or maybe even after and see the reviews on the full game

- If you have a good tank driver you can pretty much stay in the tank and win the game
- If you get a good team, take D and control the train you can pretty much always win. How people havent noticed this I dont know!
- Snipers do get annoying as you hit them getting no confirmed hit they return fire and your dead!
- In a truck running people over is comical
- Blowing buildings up is also comical and fun
Over all I have got it pre ordered I will still buy it as I want to see other maps etc & see it better than the latest cods.

- If someone on a horse is coming at you surely a complete mag of bullets from your uzi would of taken the horse and rider down - Not on BF1!!
- If you have a good tank driver you can pretty much stay in the tank and win the game
- If you get a good team, take D and control the train you can pretty much always win. How people havent noticed this I dont know!

There are little assemblies in the triggers... I've thrown a few pads now and know the procedure to repair said assemblies quite well. It'll be that registering or not registering a button press. Pull it apart using a youtube video and clean it all down. Failing that there can also be s

Actually, it IS me.... It appears that if you have an "old" controller (what, 18mths max), the trigger does not work for some reason on Battlefield games. I am using my new controller and it works fine.....
My old controller works perfectly well for every other game mind..
