Never even seen that artillery machine thingy! Although im only about rank 16 ish... someone the other night was 50+

I must say I love sitting in the field guns giving arty support for my team. Got pretty good and getting shells on target.

That's the artillery truck, you can select it as a tank type - it's a beast.

I love all of the fixed and mobile emplacements, can quite happily sit in them all game blasting away - they're normally pretty reasonably placed so they're useful, but not dominating. I'm constantly amazed that most people just ignore them.


You can even use the machine guns against the hated snipers!

I am enjoying this more now I can use the guns etc. And incendiary nades etc.. Had a lovely 3 fried snipers for the price one grenade earlier....

It was a foregone conclusion I would buy this game, it's been pre-ordered since it was possible to do so, however playing the beta, being astonished at the graphics, there will be new guns etc but overall it is still the same battlefield, makes me a happy camper.

Now I just hope they sort out the problems with bring unable to use certain weapons without having to do some kind of prone dance to find a surface they work on. And spotting / giving orders, that has to be fixed.

One improvement I haven't seen mentioned is melee killing - gone are the bad old days of sneaking up on a guy to stab him, only for him to 1/4 turn at the last second and get a ridiculously easy counter kill on you.

Gutted, was expecting it to finish at the end of the day not at 9am!

Massively enjoyed my time on it so will definitely be purchasing. Spent the last few days as assault obliterating everyone in my path with the shotgun. Great fun!
