That was my twisted logic of paying an extortionate amount too. It's an entirely unjustifiable amount for a single game but will enjoy all the DLC, early access to all the maps.My 5 "free" battlepacks were total crap, I ended up with 3 skins for the same gun (The Mondragon?).
I am hoping servers don't reset at midnight tonight in terms of progress? Would be annoyed if so.

Having played the Beta on the PC and the XBO, and being a little let down by the graphics on the XBO, they're so much more improved on the full game.
Also, I love how the single player shifts between FMVs and the playing.
I've completed two of the campaigns on Hard and they're really not that, although each mission has a specific route which if you follow makes it easy.
Most surreal moment so far has been playing as a messenger pidgeon, flying over the battlefield...

If you pre-ordered online, you'll have to wait for it to be delivered. 
Had the same problem with Destiny - pre-ordered at Game online, didn't turn up. Local Game store couldn't help.

Been playing online a little earlier as my copy arrived this morning.. Some people are already level 12?!?!
It is rather good, some lovely new weapons. Graphics are quite astounding for an online game.
Oh, and you play a bit of single player whilst it installs the full game. Rather poignant IMHO
