They also don't capture the 70 seater tourist coach just round the blind bend...or the inevitable beemer and mud strewn across the track at one of the corners in the last 5th of the circuit :-)

I sometimes find once I'm up to silly speeds on track I'm basically driving like I would in the game, which makes me scarily blasé about coming off. And that's nee good.

You are better off watching loads of youtube videos that have the gopro attached to the dash or windscreen (close) so you get a good view because the games don't really take into account the feel of it.

Dale Lomas' I think it was a Clio 197 lap is quite a good one to watch for that.

That is good.

One thing that always hits me is a; how wide the track is and b; how much sharper the corners are. It's all the PoV in the games and even some YouTube videos, but makes all the difference.
