I've only played time trial for an hour of so this evening, I have to say so far I'm very impressed. The level of detail is incredible, right down to the fuel saving farting noise the Honda engine in the McLaren makes on corner entry.

The handling is tough for a first time F1 game player like me, the window of operation is very small, go into a corner too slow and it's understeer city, too fast and you oversteer so hard you run far tighter than you want to and end up on going out of track limits or into the armco. At least in that sense it's very realistic!

I'm glad they put all the press conference, pit, pre-race etc stuff in, you can skip it if you want, or you can watch it. I watched some earlier when I did a quick race and it really did feel like I was watching F1 on the tv as they talked about the track, tyre choice etc.

Unfortunately, those cut scenes have been used in the previous two F1 games so for a seasoned veteran like me, it's a bit tedious! I still watch it for the immersion though hehe
