I did a windows update and my problems returned! Stupid poor PC porting It's fun seeing PHer drivetar's around though, sorry to those I've crashed into (I know they aren't the actual people) it's abit hard to steer my Charger

Nice little detail. I found the Reliant Regal as a barn find. Mechanic gives you the chat about it then ends with " if we keep finding these barn finds by this time next year we'll be millionaires"

I'm yet to find the Regal, just got the dune buggy and the dodge which I love the look of.

I've been playing this the past few games currently sitting at level 90 something with around 4million CR. My tip to level up to get the initial surge of money/cars is to get yourself a Horizon Edition car and then keep your skill chains going whilst in no collision online races. Get about 80k XP per online adventure!

I'm totally hooked... Like seriously!

So, who's got some good car suggestions?

In FH2 I had a Buick Regal GNX, which I modified and it was my 'goto' car. It looked great, went well and was predictable but fast. That thing won me a lot of races.

I haven't found a car which is similar yet. I've just bought and modified an '88 Monte Carlo Chevy which seems pretty predictable but no idea how quick it is in the real world yet.

Any weird/wonderful suggestions for genuinely quick cars once tuned?

So I bought this on Friday and managed a few hours. I bought the xbox for Forza 5...this is my first Horizon version.

If I'm being honest I think i bought the wrong game and should have got Forza 6.

I'll keep trying but I don't 'get it'. I'm currently at level 12, sat with 1 million credits and I bought the DLC car packs so have a decent choice of cars.

Please could anyone offer some advise on the best way to play the game. I really want to like it but so far haven't gelled with it...

Horizon is more of a cruise around the map doing stupid things kind of game, compared to the seriousness of the Forza Motorsport series i'd say. If you have Xbox Live jump into an online lobby with a few PH members and free roam or do an online adventure and you'll soon be seeing what this game is about. All about the social aspect in my opinion.

My Skyline GTR 1993 is pretty good, it's my go-to A-rank car and my favourite car in game. Struggling with the American stuff, my insane Challenger Hellcat above is a handful plus getting it off the line is hard as 1st is basically useless and you can't short shift before the game says "go". The Falcon barn find is pretty good and so is the classic Charger with the body upgrade thing (the one that the game keeps going "oooh come look at this" in the tuning menu).

Out of the 4x4's I have fun with Urus and it's usually enough to beat everything, the computer does well with the G-Wagon and one of the barn find 4x4's is pretty awesome. The Delta is the best rally rep though the celcia is also pretty good.

Whatever you do, don't try and be fast with the Koeinigsegg Regana(?), it doesn't grip but is amazing for speed camera's (here's me just before I crashed)
