Anyone know when I can get my hands on some more free Porsches from a forzathon?
There's a 959 available next weekend... https://ar12gaming.com/articles/fh3-forzathon-julyThe 959 forzathon is live, and there's a free car coming. If you've got Horizon 3 or Final Fantasy XV, codes will be sent out by Xbox message for the Regalia, a made up car from FFXV https://youtu.be/HFiFQk04hAE
Anyone tried the Hoonigan pack? Uses all the existing routes and PR stunts but does have some new achievements.
On the subject of PR stunts, I finally 3-starred them all today. Some of them are properly teeth-gnashing, especially the longer jumps where it's almost random how you'll land. Left the Timber Mill one until last as it's the most frustrating of the lot, but cleared it in the end by about .0.7m using the Nomad. Then a moment later what did I see but one of the roads near it have a grey section - I've been stuck on 477/478 roads discovered since about March, and it was right in front of me the entire time.

I found with some of the harder jumps (including that timber mill one) that you don't need as much speed as you might think, just a good clean launch off the ramp. Porsche 918 has been the weapon of choice for a lot of them for me. Having no control over the landings (although GTA-style "flying" might not be a good thing!) is frustrating thoughOn the subject of PR stunts, I finally 3-starred them all today. Horizon 4 was accidentally confirmed by the Brazilian ratings board as well. Rumours are that it will be set in Japan, which would be awesome.
That could well be excellent. I never felt any love for the Australia map, not really. Meanwhile I had a brilliant time on the snow mountain expansion map. How are you starting it at the moment? Mine always had to be started through the windows xbox app thing (the one that gives you the store/friendslist etc)
The issues I had were around initial launch with certain anti-virus software causing a problem. Sorry if there is another patch that's done something recently I uninstalled it along time ago because it was such a poor port and would always crash.

Have you tried cleaning the disc?
Do other discs still work (is it definitely the disc and not the drive)?

I have since inspected the disc thoroughly and found that although the surface is perfect there is a slight defect on the rim. Assume the disc has been dropped or "jammed". In today's day and age it's a bit crap that there's not a work around

It sucks, but the game is now very cheap! Buy another one. I have since inspected the disc thoroughly and found that although the surface is perfect there is a slight defect on the rim. So, this is now available for under 15 quid. Worth it? I fancy a new car game. I've been playing Project Cars which is alright, but getting a bit bored now, and DIRT Rally, which is excellent, but probably a bit "serious" for my liking.
If you want a more track based sim racer, get Forza 7. If you want a more arcadey game that you can chill out on and mess about, then get Horizon 3.TameRacingDriver said:

Definitely worth it. FM7 feels far more restrictive, not just because you stay on track, but that you can't create custom championships, half the vehicles are useless (but awesome in FH3 where you can go off road) and upgrades are almost worthless nowGassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
