I still have RoN on disc somewhere. Loved that game, although by the end when you unlocked the final parts of the tech tree things got a little ridiculous. It always ended in stalemate!

So far I have fallen culprit to Shadow of Mordor (42gb download file!) and Borderlands 2 GoTY for the princely sum of £16ish. I love Steam sales.

Now, do I get Elite Dangerous or X3: Terran Conflict...?
I will probably be in the minority, but I'd recommend X3. It does have a steep learning curve but there's so much to do, much more so than in Elite IMO.
With a quick check of the reviews, I'm thinking the same. X3 is currently 50% off wonder if it will drop to 75...

ETA 75% off "X-Superbox" which includes all X3 games/addons, X2 and X so just went with that tongue out

Took a punt on an early access game called Jalopy ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/446020/ ) and it seems quite nice so far. The gameplay is you and a friend are on a road trip through a procedurally generated version of the former Eastern Block in a little car. Along the way you have to maintain your car, salvage / buy / upgrade parts like engine, carburettor, wheels, ignition coils etc, make sure you have the right oil-fuel ratio for the two-stroke engine, lots of little management bits like that. You also find boxes at the side of the road which contain items to sell, but make sure you don't get spotted by the border guards or you'll be fined for smuggling.

I've only played it for an hour or so and there are bugs but that's to be expected for an early access game, but overall even at this stage its enjoyable and has promise. Has the look and feel of Papers Please and 80 Days.

Oh, and if you have't played 80 Days, get that too, lovely game.

I got Beam NG, what a laugh that is! spent about an hour last night crashing into various bits and pieces. Will also look up GT legends too, and thinking of one more. GTAV/Witcher 3/Project Cars...
Mods here for it: http://www.beamng.com/resources/

Quality varies for the 3rd party cars, some damage like they should/original content and others are absolute tanks. Still worth looking at though! smile
and gently down...

Just bought this for 11.61 from the main website via Humble Bundle (although oddly it's not listed on the humble bundle site itself?) Activated on steam and downloading now...

To The Moon for 70p is well worth it. More of an interactive novel, but the story telling is fantastic and the most emotional game I have played cry
