A bandstand at my local morrisons has about 20+ people every night there. Reaches roughly 50 on a Saturday!

Yep, the "hotspots" can get quite crowded on evenings. Bars near them get quite crowded.

The brilliant weather (especially in the evening) helps a lot though.

Any tips for a new player and any mistakes i might make?

I downloaded this on thursday last week but i could not log on most of the weekend so i have just got to lvl 6 (chose team Mystic)

I have heard about spinning the pokeballs to catch things but not tried it yet and i have an egg in an incubator, but i already have 2 other eggs when my first one has hacthed. It sounds like it is best to 'transfer' your lowest cp if you have multiple pokemons of the same type but that is about the limit of my knowledge at the minute.

3. When you get a "lucky egg", activate it and spend the next half hour evolving stuff

This basically. You want to concentrate on levelling up, stocking stardust and catching everything right up till about level 15. At that point you should start nearing having some Pokemon nearly 1000cp and caught some rare ones.

With a lucky egg on each evolve is 1000xp.

I did create a second account which i haven't used since to see if i could log on with that, is team mystic really that bad, they all looked much of a muchness?

Nah Mystic is by far the best choice, but it takes some brains to see that.

Couldn't vote, but managed to pick up a nice set of Wharfedales cheap afterwards as the GBP took a hit .

There's literally nothing between them dude, whichever you choose you'll still find gyms that belong to another team for you to battle with. It mostly comes down to picking the colour you like best.

I started playing for the first time properly last night, ended up walking the 2 miles home rather than taking the bus

I just went out for half hour walk around the woods near work.

The new (to me) ones i got were a jinx and gastly and shellder but only about half a dozen in total.

I also put a 142hp raticate in a nearby gym that has space but it has been taken over by the time i got back. i did manage to hit about 12-15 stops though and now have another incubator, 33 potions, 18 revives and 138 pokeballs.

It is a good reason to get out of the office and get a bit of exercise!

yeah she turns into a miserable pokemon

told her when I went out on my own last I saw a lovely couple both pokeing around the park
