There's been no word from Niantic about any other events other than the 8 new Pokemon. But I would be surprised if they let Christmas pass by without something happening.

Hatched an Igglybuff from a 2km egg yesterday, it was the first 2km egg I picked up since the new pokemon were released so pretty lucky! smile

Finally got myself a Togepi last night after hatching loads of eggs this week. Was starting to get a bit annoyed tbh.

Xmas event - a free 1 use incubator every day from tomorrow until 3rd January, plus increased rate of babies in eggs. Followed by increased spawns of starters from 30th December to 8th January.

Very much looking forward to this, I've yet to hatch a baby and although I have a Charizard and a Blastoise, I'm a long way from a Venusaur, so the increased spawns will definitely help on that front.

Did any one get their free incubator?

No incubators for me yet. Just visited a few pokestops just now and nothing.

The shop had some new festive offerings though.

Dunno what's in the boxes though...

Edit. Just tap on them and it shows you, 2, 4 or 6 incubators plus some balls/ other bits. wink

Not me! I went for a walk this afternoon, must have hit at least 30 stops, some of them twice or more and no sign of a free incubator.

App reloaded last night, got the single-use incubator with my first stop of the day.

There should be increased spawns of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, starting tomorrow. Lure modules will last for 60 minutes, but I don't have any so no use to me.

Well that sounds good, especially as I've only ever seen 1 Bulbasaur and 1 Squirtle in the 'wild'. I'm getting bored of Pidgeys at work. Exciting uncaught pokemon on the nearby but I can't get there and back in my lunch

Anyone else getting really fed up of how difficult these are to catch? Especially Charmanders.

I went out at lunchtime for a bit of sunshine and there were loads of them but probably about half ran away. The worst was a Charmander which did a runner after 4 raspberries and 20 ultraballs (I'm estimating as I lost count). What's the fecking point if they're that difficult? I can just about keep stocked with pokeballs when in London; I wouldn't have a hope if I was in my village - I would just run out of pokeballs and give up. As it is, even being in London today, I'm down to just 18 raspberries.

Not me. I've had loads of them. I've had a couple run away after the first ball, and a couple that have taken maybe half a dozen or so Great balls to catch, but they've not otherwise been too different to others.

Seeing a lot less of them due to being rural, but they seem particularly "flighty".

Got a few Santa Hat Pikachus, one will become a Raichu!

Also had a Charmeloen whoosh away after 1 razzberry and 1 ultra ball. Wtf is the point in that. Similar story with a Squirtle, though I did catch two of those.
